"Kim, what do we do?"
Shelton and Tina looked at Kim anxiously. They gripped their swords tightly, waiting for Kim to give them orders.
The air was heavy with tension. Alex unconsciously moved closer to them. A pack of blood wolves was beyond his capabilities.
"Blood wolves are extremely fierce and fast. We can't turn back. All we can do now is run deeper into the woods. If we can break into another demonic beast’s territory, they might stop. It’s the only way," Kim said solemnly.
"Okay, let's go!"
Shelton and Tina immediately agreed. They trusted Kim explicitly. Eyes resolute, they were ready to run deeper into the woods at his command.
"Alex," Kim looked at Alex and asked, "will you fight with us?"
“Sure.” Alex nodded. He had no confidence in handling a pack of blood wolves alone
