Yam's feet were caught in the quicksand. Before he could escape, three rocks shot towards him like lightning, hitting him squarely in the chest, stomach, and leg.

Yam gripped the spear in his hand and moved like a swift and agile dragon. After successfully crushing the rocks, he pierced the quicksand with the tip of his weapon and flung himself out of the trap before it was too late.
The spear was more than two meters long. Since Alex's quicksand was about one meter in diameter, Yam was able to vault himself out of the pit by using the weapon as a pole.
To be precise, Yam broke out of not only the Quicksand spell but also Alex’s earth magic. Alex was only a level 2 wizard. Yam could evade his Quicksand, Earth Spike, and Earthquake spells
