With a loud roar, the furious pterodactyl swooped down, flashing its sharp, sickle-like claws at Mara.
Mara closed her eyes, feeling helpless and desperate.
At that moment, a figure appeared between her and the beast, blocking the claws from grabbing her.

A long blade of thunder shot out from the sky and slashed the pterodactyl’s sharp claws. The lightning collided with the claws with a piercing sound. It broke in half, emitting sparks in its wake.
