Rael was an elite student at Leiber High School, but because he came from a single-parent family, his mother fell ill and needed medical treatment, so he had to drop out of school and work to earn money. Once, he was maliciously forced by gangsters to sign a huge compensation agreement, which left him without an income and caused his mother to lose her life. Before her death, his mother told Rael about her father's identity: he was a wealthy gangster boss, but he would not recognize her and her son. Rael did not understand why his father was so cruel, so he began his road of revenge with resentment and anger.

Tragic start
"Rael, help get the beer to table 9!" A portly, bearded middle-aged man at the bar named Willuk, was shouting at the busy Rael with a fierce look on his face. Rael had just finished clearing the bottles left by the previous table when he heard the bartender's call. He rushed to the bar and grabbed a beer, only to be scolded by the bartender: "Hurry up! You damned underage kid!" Rael said nothing as he picked up his beer and left. Rael, 17, had recently dropped out of Leiber High School. He had always been an excellent student and should have continued attending school, but unfortunately, his mother was seriously ill and urgently needed medical expenses, forced him to drop out and work. Because he had to work as a laborer at a construction site during the day, and work as a waiter at a bar called Candy at night, he could barely raise enough money for his mother's medical treatment for one day. Due to the long hours of work, his body began to feel tired, and when he was about to serve beer to No. 9, he accidentally bumped into a customer who had just walked in! "Damn it! My fleece jacket!" Rael reacted and saw that the man was a tall black man, staring at him coldly with a fierce look in his eyes. He knew him: a minor leader of the Grans gang, a frequent sight in the bar. His name was Rootbill, and he was also the "supervisor" of this street, with two accomplices. "You bastard, you ruined my fleece jacket!" Rootbill glared at Rael fiercely. Rael was at a loss for words and could only apologize repeatedly, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" The bar's previously boisterous atmosphere suddenly cooled, and everyone's attention was drawn to Rootbill. No one dared to speak up for Rael. "Hmph! Kid, I don't care if you did it on purpose or not. "Now that your jacket is ripped, you owe me compensation!" Rootbill pointed at a small tear on the side of his jacket. Rael looked over and saw the c***k had clearly been there for a long time. The other party was deliberately trying to cause trouble for him! "Sir, that c***k doesn't look like something I just bumped into. You're..." Rael tried to explain that it wasn't his fault. Unexpectedly, Rootbil flew into a rage upon hearing this. He picked up a chair and hurled it at Rael. "Ah!" Rael screamed, and the bottle in his hand shattered, scattering across the floor. Seeing this, Wiluk, worried about his financial losses, hurried out of the bar and, submissively, addressed Rootbil, "Boss Root, please let me go of my chair! If you want compensation, ask Rael. This damned minor needs a lesson!" Seeing Wiluk's respectful attitude, Rootbil stopped smashing the chair and instead demanded a sharp lesson from the boss. Rael, lying on the ground, looked at Wiluk with pleading eyes, hoping this matter would be resolved. But then, everyone heard Wiluk's words and looked at Leir with pity. "Boss Root, how about this? We wrote a letter of compensation to the damned minor, demanding he work here to repay our debts. How about that?" Rael's eyes widened in disbelief, staring at this cruel and cunning Wiluk. He didn't owe him any money at all! Rutbil nodded in agreement and assigned Wiluk to prepare the plan. Thus, under the threat of the four, Rael was forced to sign this "unfair agreement" that owed him a total of $20,000! Rael began to resist,, but he was no match for Rootbil's underlings. He wanted to escape,, but he hadn't received his salary tonight, so how could he pay for his mother's medical expenses tomorrow? "Boss, can you pay me tonight's salary first? "I still need to pay for my treatment!" Leier signed the agreement and begged Willuk to pay him today's salary. "No! "Your future salary will be considered debt repayment!" Willuk scoffed. He knew Rael's mother needed the money, and that was why he had to tie Rael up and continue working. Rael's patience was unbearable. He angrily said, "Why? You're forcing me to sign this compensation agreement. You're breaking the law! "Aren't you afraid I'll call the police?" Rootbil scoffed, "Call the police? Haha..." His underlings laughed too! Wiluk snorted indifferently, explaining, "Have you forgotten what Boss Root does?" Rael then realized that Rootbil was a member of the Grans gang and frequently mingled with the local police. Calling the police probably wouldn't do anything! He lowered his head in despair, yet he understood the terrifying power of the mafia. But what about the money for his mother's medical treatment? Late at night. Rael left the bar devastated, feeling his life was about to fall apart. His mother was ill, he had lost his income, and was now forced to shoulder a massive financial loss. What if he were to lose his support for a moment? Walking down the street, he saw a father happily chatting with his child, and asked himself, "Why don't I have a father?" Rael arrived at Ferro Hospital, a small hospital in his local city of Engels. While the fees were low, for a teenager like Rael, the lack of income was a steep price to pay. He entered the hospital and went to the back room. His mother slept peacefully in bed. In the corner, the hospital cleaning staff's tools were piled high, and the air was humid. But this was the room the hospital had provided for Rael, a room that suited his budget. Rael tiptoed to the bedside, looking at his mother, whose face had turned pale. Upon learning that she had myeloid leukemia, he felt devastated. The doctor also mentioned that the disease required long-term medication and was expensive. Initially, his mother refused treatment, but after Rael's persuasion, she finally agreed. Now, Leier had dropped out of school to work and had lost his income. He didn't dare tell his mother, fearing it would affect his condition. Just then, a nurse passed by and, noticing Rael's arrival, quietly opened the door and greeted him. "Mr. Rael, please come out!" His heart skipped a beat, knowing the nurse was looking for him to pay his bill. They arrived at the nurse's desk, where the nurse handed him a bill for the next week's medication, a whopping $1,200. Rael's heart darkened when he saw it! He hesitated, "My dear nurse, I have a problem. Can I defer my payment?" The nurse shook her head, indicating no negotiation, and explained, "Your mother's condition has already been significantly discounted by our hospital. This is the lowest rate!" Rael recalled the doctor's help he'd received before; it had indeed reduced his bill considerably. Resigned, he couldn't ask the doctor for an extension. Afterward, he didn't return to the hospital ward, but instead to the dilapidated house where he had grown up. Though it looked shabby, it was filled with memories of his mother. He searched everywhere for something he could sell for money, but after searching extensively, he realized he had already sold everything he could to raise money for his mother's medical expenses. He sat on the ground like a deflated ball, gazing at the empty house, as if it were the last thing he had left that was worth anything. But he didn't want to sell it; it was his and his mother's last hope. He suddenly remembered the father and son he had seen on the street. He remembered his mother, who had kept his father's death secret since childhood and had even described their love affair with him. But in the end, she was expelled because she had interfered with his previous relationship, unaware that she was pregnant with him. Seventeen years had passed. Could he find his father for help? And where would he be?
