LAUREY'S P.O.V I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window. Peaceful. Calm. The kind of morning normal teenagers woke up to. Yeah... not me. I blinked slowly, staring at the ceiling. Something felt off. I usually wake up in the middle of the night- heart racing, body shaking from nightmares I can't escape. Sometimes I don't even sleep at all. But today... Nothing. No nightmares.
