A Resolution of Sorts
Sam wrote and sent out the invitations himself. He didn’t say anything to Caitlin. Her birthday was less than a week away, and he wanted to make it special for her. The invitations were formal and requested the presence of Maddie, Penny, Diana, and Catherine at Anthony’s on Friday night. They specified it was a surprise party and everyone should dress. He talked to Lars and Marcel, specifying how he wanted things to go. They were very happy to carry out his instructions. It promised to be a fun evening for them all.
In the meantime, Catherine took Diana to see Dr. Collins when she had her next checkup. He went with them. Dr. Collins greeted him warmly, delighted to see him again after the girls had told her so much about him. Catherine was progress
