Chapter 79

The elderly man in gray nodded respectfully, "Yes." Tim closed his eyes, deep in thought. He wanted to enter Z City, but even Nacehope City wasn't entirely peaceful. Another faction within their gang had been exiled overseas decades ago due to internal gang conflicts. Recently, he had received news of this rebellious faction's resurgence, which posed a significant challenge to the entire gang. Until this issue was resolved, he had no extra energy to deal with anyone else. In M City, Emma said to Vincent, "Honey, the company has decided the next strategic; that is entering Nacehope City. After all, it is the economic center of the United States. If V&E Group wants to expand, we must enter Nacehope City!" Although V&E Group had already conquered Z City, the growth potential there was relatively limited compared to Nacehope City, which was a larger international metropolis. Only by entering Nacehope City could they achieve greater development. Vincent smiled, "Whatever decision you make, I'll support you!" Emma frowned, "But there's a problem. We don't know much about Nacehope City yet, so we need to conduct preliminary market research." Vincent chuckled, "That's easy. I'll accompany you there, alright?" Lying in Vincent's arms, Emma wore a satisfied smile and whispered softly, "Thank you, darling!" For such a faraway place as Nacehope City, Vincent couldn't bear to let Emma go alone. After booking their tickets, Vincent and Emma boarded a plane from M City directly to Nacehope City. They were accompanied by Galahad and Emma's secretary. As for the Knights, they naturally remained hidden in unnoticed places to protect everyone. After a flight of over an hour, the plane safely landed at Nacehope International Airport. Stepping off the plane, Emma was amazed by the prosperity of this city—skyscrapers everywhere and people of various ethnicities bustling about. Compared to Nacehope City, M City and Z City seemed like small rural areas. Vincent chuckled, "Of course, this is the largest financial city in the country. How could M City compare?" Emma nodded, "Alright, let's head to the hotel first!" Before coming to Nacehope City, Emma had already instructed her secretary to book a five-star hotel. Just as they exited the airport corridor, someone suddenly bumped into Emma hard. The person hurriedly apologized, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Emma waved it off, "It's okay! It's okay!" Vincent take a serious glance and noticed that it was a woman wearing a duckbill cap, large sunglasses, and a mask, making it impossible to see her face clearly. Just then, several men in suits came running and shouted, "There she is! Quickly, go after her!" Seeing this, the woman pleaded urgently, "They're after me. Could you please help?" Vincent furrowed his brow, reluctant to get involved. After all, in a strange place, it was unexpected for a stranger to seek his help. Moreover, judging by the well-trained appearance of the pursuers, the woman was clearly not ordinary. Seeing the woman's pitiful expression, Emma turned to Vincent and asked, "Vincent, can't we help her? Look at her, a young woman being chased by a group of men. If they catch her, who knows what might happen." Vincent sighed lightly, Emma's kindness was truly unwavering. The suited men caught up, wearing sinister smirks. "You little b***h, where do you think you're running? Come quietly now!" Vincent frowned slightly; it was evident these men were trouble. The woman screamed in fear, "Dream on! I'd rather die than go back with you!" One of the suited men, upon hearing this, sneered menacingly, "Since you dare offend Mr. Wright, there's no place for you in Nacehope City anymore! Today, you're finished!" With that threat, the men moved in to grab her. In her panic, the woman hurriedly hid behind Vincent. The leader of the men stared down Vincent with a malevolent expression, "Bro, move aside!" Vincent replied calmly, "What if I don't?" Hearing Vincent's defiance, the men's faces turned even fiercer. "Looks like you're asking for trouble? Go find out who dares to offend Mr. Wright throughout Nacehope City!" Upon hearing that these men were associated with Mr. Wright, bystanders quickly distanced themselves and looked at Vincent with pity. The suited men smirked triumphantly. In Nacehope City, Tim Wright was the kingpin! No one dared to cross them because anyone who did was swiftly dealt with, thrown into the sewers to feed the rats. Seeing the reactions around him, Vincent realized that this Mr. Wright was notorious throughout Nacehope City. Vincent couldn't be bothered to waste words. He turned to Galahad beside him and said, "Galahad, handle these trash for me." Galahad responded immediately, "My lord, as you command!" Hearing Vincent's command to Galahad, the suited men exploded in anger, shouting, "Arrogant fools! You dare offend us knowing we're Mr. Wright's men? You're asking for death!"
