Chapter 87

"You punk, you hit my car and now you think you can just leave? Do you even know who I am?" the golden-hair man glared at Vincent, his face contorted with anger. Vincent glanced at him and shook his head indifferently. "No idea." Did he really need to know every random person who crossed his path? This response infuriated the golden-hair man even more. As the heir of the Watt Group, he was widely recognized across the whole city. Yet, here was this guy claiming ignorance? "Listen up, I'm Justin Watt, heir to one of Nacehope City's Big Four Corporations, the Watt Group!" Justin announced proudly. In Nacehope City, he, along with Tyler, Oswald, and others, were known as the city's Four Tyrants. They were notorious for their reckless behavior, spending their days making merry, and bullying ordinary citizens. "Justin Watt?" Vincent frowned. "Still don't know." "You..." Justin couldn't believe Vincent didn't recognize him after he had clearly stated his name. Wasn't this guy from Nacehope City? "Move out of the way, I'm gonna a party," Vincent said impatiently. Justin sneered, "You? At this party? Look at you, you're probably just a driver." Vincent was dressed casually, with no visible brand, nothing fancy about him—just like any other chauffeur. Especially since he was driving a regular Mercedes today. Today's party attendees were Nacehope City's upper crust. No one dared arrive in a cheap car. Justin concluded that Vincent was just a small business owner's driver. So his confidence swelled. 'A small business owner's driver dares to offend me? Is he asking for trouble?' "None of your business!" Vincent was done with Justin's nonsense. He had dealt with enough rich second-generation brats like him—spoiled, arrogant, acting like fools since childhood. Justin grabbed Vincent's shoulder, his expression menacing. "You, kneel down and apologize now, or you'll regret it." Vincent's smile turned sly. "Kneel and apologize to you?" "What? Scared now?" Justin smirked. "I'm from the Watt family, one of Nacehope City's Big Four Corporations. Cross me and you won't survive in this city." Smack! Vincent's hand struck Justin's face before he could finish. The sound echoed sharply, leaving Justin stunned. He covered his face in disbelief, his anger reaching its peak. 'This guy is crazy! I have clearly identified myself as the heir of the Watt family, and yet here I am, being struck by this man?' "You bastard, you're dead!" Justin yelled, throwing a punch at Vincent. Justin wasn't entirely useless; raised in his family, he had become quite skilled in combat. How dare Vincent strike him? Justin wanted nothing more than to pummel Vincent to death! Huh? To Justin's surprise, Vincent grabbed his fist effortlessly. Vincent sneered, "You call this strength? You dare to act up in front of me?" With a swift motion, Vincent squeezed, and Justin's wrist instantly fractured. "Ahh!" Justin collapsed to the ground, letting out a gut-wrenching scream of pain. Vincent didn't spare him a second glance as he walked away. "You asshole, I'm gonna kill you!" Justin roared in fury at Vincent's retreating figure. From start to finish, Vincent treated Justin with complete indifference. His cold demeanor made Justin feel like nothing more than a worthless ant, which infuriated him to no end. After a moment. When the pain subsided slightly, Justin stood up, seething with resentment. "Damn you! Daring to hit me, I'll make you pay for this!" With those words, Justin picked up a stone from the ground and headed towards Vincent's Mercedes. Bang! A loud crash echoed as Justin smashed the windshield of Vincent's car, leaving a gaping hole. "Haha! I'll show you who's boss! Today, I'm gonna trash your car!" Justin laughed triumphantly. Three minutes later, Vincent's Mercedes was in ruins. Seeing this, Justin's anger began to dissipate. He climbed into his Lamborghini, started the engine. With a sudden press of the gas pedal, he rammed it fiercely into Vincent's car. Repeatedly, he slammed into the Mercedes until it was pushed aside. Finally, Justin parked his severely damaged Lamborghini in the parking spot. Stepping out of the car, Justin smirked coldly. "Try to steal my spot again, see what happens!" Using his million-dollar Lamborghini to wreck Vincent's Mercedes worth only a few hundred thousand was quite extravagant. But Justin didn't care. All that mattered was his own satisfaction. After all the commotion, Justin felt much better. "That little punk gonna the party? I'll settle the score with him!" As the heir of the Watt family, Justin had come to the party for this very reason. Chuckling coldly, Justin headed towards the event. *** "Vincent, what took you so long?" Emma asked, puzzled, upon Vincent's return. Vincent replied calmly, "Nothing much, just ran into a fool who delayed me for a bit." He was still unaware that Justin had nearly totaled his car. Surveying the venue, Vincent noticed hundreds of attendees. He inquired, "Has the party started yet?" Emma glanced at the time and said, "Not yet, it'll probably start in a few minutes." "In that case, let's go eat first!" Vincent replied, leading Emma to the buffet area where they indulged themselves. Sean and Crystal watched in astonishment. They understood that attendees at such events were typically distinguished and came to network. Vincent's unabashed eating was unprecedented among them. As first-time participants in such a high-profile event, Sean and Crystal were cautious and barely spoke, let alone relaxed like Vincent. Emma only took a few desserts to nibble on. Concerned about Vincent devouring his food like he hadn't eaten in days, she cautioned, "Take it slow, you might choke." Vincent, stuffing a piece of cheesecake into his mouth, replied, "The food's good, you should try some!" Then he picked up a piece of cake and gently offered it into Emma's mouth. Seeing Vincent's behavior, the surrounding guests couldn't hide their disdain.
