Vincent shook his head, not bothering to argue with the Baron family. ‘What a bunch of idiots. There’s no point wasting my energy talking to them.’
"We're leaving," Vincent said to Una and the others.
"Vincent, you liar! Are you really willing to leave us homeless on the streets?" Una exploded with anger. If Vincent had bought an ordinary villa, she might have believed it. But claiming he spent a hundred million on Cloudtop Villa was absurd. Was he taking them all for fools?
"Do you really think you can afford Cloudtop Villa? You must be crazy! You can leave, but I'll find a way back to the Baron family!" Una gritted her teeth.
"You don't believe me?" Vincent furrowed his brows.
"Vincent, there's no way I'll believe you! If I knew you liked to talk big, I would have let Emma divorce you, so our family wouldn't be laughed at every day," Una scoffed.
"Mom, stop being unreasonable. Let's just go. Vincent promised, and he'll deliver!" Emma pleaded earnestly.
"I'm not going anywhere! I'll die here!" Una lay on the ground, wailing.
Emma felt helpless as she looked at her mother. ‘Why is my mother so unreasonable?’
Vincent fell silent too, finding Una both foolish and ridiculous.
Franklin felt embarrassed by Una's stubbornness.
The other members of the Baron family trembled with anger at Una's behavior.
Hunter roared, "Una, you've disappointed me. From today, I'm cutting ties with you as my daughter!"
Una looked up at Hunter, disbelief written all over her face. She hadn't expected Hunter to be so heartless as to cut ties with his own daughter. Though Hunter didn't like her, Una had still hoped to return to the Baron family estate. But today, she realized she didn't belong there at all.
Una turned numb, and her eyes became red and teary.
Emma shook her head, "Mom, let's go." She helped Una up.
Una seemed soulless; she was completely different from before.
Though Una was foolish, being disowned by her father was a huge blow.
As they supported Una up and prepared to leave the Baron family estate, the members of the family stood in their way.
Vincent frowned. "What's the meaning of this?"
Hunter sneered, "Vincent, you've embarrassed us. You think you can just walk away like this? If you want to leave, you must kneel and apologize to us."
"Exactly, Vincent, you can leave, but you must kneel down and apologize to us!" Kim and Miranda glared at Vincent with hostility.
At that banquet, Vincent made them kneel down in front of everyone. They would never get over it if Vincent didn’t do the same today.
"Enough talk, grab him and make him apologize to us!" Hunter commanded.
Vincent turned away, disdainfully saying, "Do you really think a bunch of losers like you can stop me?"
Hearing this, the members of the Baron family recalled the fear they felt when Vincent dominated them at the banquet.
Vincent turned to Hunter and the others, saying, "I hope you won't regret this." With that, Vincent left the Baron family estate with Emma and the others.
Once Vincent had left, Hunter and the others cursed him venomously.
"Vincent, who do you think you are? You’re dreaming if you think we'll regret anything, you piece of trash!"
"After leaving here, your whole family will end up homeless and sleeping on the streets!"
"Get lost, none of you are allowed back here ever!"
Elsewhere, Una still looked like she had lost everything.
Emma, worried, said, "Vincent, look at my mom..."
Vincent glanced at Una. "Don't worry, she'll be fine soon." He knew Una had been deeply affected by what had happened.
Vincent took out the car keys, preparing to drive.
"This is a Maybach, and it looks like a high-end one. It's worth at least tens of millions!" Franklin recognized the car at a glance.
"Vincent, is this your car? How much did it cost?" Franklin asked Vincent.
Vincent smiled, "I never ask about prices when I buy things..."
"If you don't know the price, then it's definitely not your car!" Before Vincent could respond, Una suddenly jumped up and shouted.
Vincent looked at Una. She seemed like she was in the depths of despair just a moment ago, so why was she so excited now?
"Oh, this car must be expensive!" Una walked up and carefully touched it with her hand.
"Vincent, is this your car?" Una stared at Vincent with determination.
"This car..." Before Vincent could answer, Emma spoke up, "There's no way this is Vincent's car. It's a rental. Let's get in the car quickly, Hope is sleeping inside."
Upon hearing this, Una's expression fell. So, the car wasn't Vincent's.
After getting in the car, Una spoke with an unpleasant expression, "Vincent, where are we going? I won't go to that cheap apartment. If we aren’t going to Cloudtop Villa, I'll make Emma divorce you!"
Vincent felt like Una was no different from a buzzing fly right now, but out of respect for Emma, he remained silent.
"Relax, we're not going to the apartment; we're going to Cloudtop Villa!" Vincent started the car.
"Vincent, even at this point, you're still talking big. Did you think renting a car would make me believe you're rich?"
Una cursed, "I was blind to believe you in the first place. I want you to divorce Emma right away!"
The car engine roared.
With that, Vincent stepped on the gas pedal and sped away.
