"Vincent!"
"Mr. Chesterton!"
"Honey!"
Seeing Vincent, Emma and the others were overjoyed.
"Let go of me!" Emma tried to run to Vincent, but Edison grabbed her arm.
"You're not going anywhere," Edison snarled.
"Blocking my wife? You're asking for it!" Vincent strode over and slapped Edison hard across the face.
"Ah!"
Edison screamed. His teeth flew out, and blood filled his mouth. He fell to the ground, glaring at Vincent with hatred. The murderer of his father was right in front of him. Edison shouted, "Vincent, you killed my father. Today, I’m gonna fight you to the death!" He picked up a machete from the ground and charged at Vincent.
Bang!
Bang!
Two gunshots rang out. Edison dropped to his knees, blood pouring from his legs.
"Ahhhh!" Edison howled in pain.
Galahad, holding a smoking gun, said coldly, "How dare you disrespect my lord. You court death!"
"Honey!" Emma threw herself into Vincent's arms.
Ignoring everyone else, Vincent gently asked, "Are you okay, babe?"
Emma shook her head. "I'm fine."
At that moment, Una ran out from behind the sofa and pointed at Kennedy. "Vincent, you’re just in time! Kill that bastard!"
Vincent turned, his gaze icy as he stared at Kennedy. "So, you’re Kennedy?"
"Hmph!" Kennedy snorted, "Yes, I’m Kennedy. Who are you?"
"I'm Vincent Chesterton," he replied coolly.
Kennedy's expression changed into shock. "You’re the homeless man who married Emma and then ran off?"
Years ago, when Vincent married Emma, Kennedy had already been expelled from the Joseph family, so he didn’t recognize him.
Then, seeing Vincent lead a thousand elite soldiers, disarm his men and cripple Edison, Kennedy couldn’t believe this was the same man.
Vincent walked toward Kennedy, his voice cold. "You tried to kill my father-in-law?"
Kennedy sneered. "Yes! Franklin killed my brother Norman and took our family’s assets. I’m here to kill him!"
"Good. Then you can die too," Vincent said. His killing intent was clear.
"You think it’s that easy to kill me?" Kennedy roared. Then he charged at Vincent with his machete.
Galahad raised his gun, ready to fire.
But Vincent stopped him with a gesture.
"He came at a good timing. It’s been a while since I stretched my muscles," Vincent said.
Galahad respectfully lowered his gun and stepped back.
"You bastard, you’re asking for death!" Kennedy snarled as he saw Galahad put away his gun.
He became even faster, and emitted terrifying killing intent.
In an instant, he was right in front of Vincent.
Facing Kennedy’s ferocious attack, Vincent stood still, unflinching.
"Die!"
Seeing Vincent standing motionless, Kennedy revealed a trace of cruelty and swung his machete to s***h at Vincent.
He believed Vincent was paralyzed with fear and could already see him beheaded.
"Vincent!" Emma and the others cried out.
Boom!
Just as Kennedy's machete came down, Vincent threw a punch. Bang! With a loud crash, Kennedy was sent flying like a ragdoll, slamming into the ground.
His machete snapped in half and clattered to the floor.
Kennedy coughed up a mouthful of blood in midair.
Then he crashed down heavily.
He looked up at Vincent with terror, as if seeing a true demon. "What did you do?"
Vincent's punch had severely injured Kennedy’s internal organs, rendering him a incapacitated wreck.
The hundreds of Wild Warriors members stared in disbelief.
Watching this, Galahad was unimpressed. Anyone daring to challenge Vincent was simply overestimating themselves.
Vincent walked slowly toward Kennedy, looking down at him.
"Kennedy, you dared to threaten my father-in-law. Today, you will die!"
He lifted his foot, ready to crush Kennedy’s skull.
Kennedy’s face was full of fear.
He sensed death approaching.
"Vincent, wait!" Franklin suddenly called out as Vincent was about to stomp.
Vincent paused, looking at Franklin in confusion.
Franklin sighed deeply. "Vincent, let him go."
"Dad, you’re too soft-hearted!" Vincent said, exasperated.
Franklin’s expression was pained. "I know, but I’ve already lost one brother. Do you want me to lose another?"
Norman was dead, leaving only Kennedy. If Kennedy were killed, Franklin would have no brothers left.
Despite Kennedy’s attempt on taking his life, Franklin couldn’t bear to see him killed.
"Hahaha!"
Kennedy laughed wildly. "Franklin, you’re as weak as ever. Do you think sparing me will earn my gratitude? Dream on! I’ll still come for you!"
Franklin’s face was filled with sorrow. There’s no greater agony than brothers turning on each other.
Seeing that Kennedy would never repent even in front of death, Vincent’s anger flared.
After a few seconds, he calmed down, fixing Kennedy with an icy stare. "Fool."
Bang!
Vincent stomped down hard.
"Ahhh!" Kennedy screamed in agony.
"My legs!" Kennedy shouted in pain, clutching his legs with both hands.
Vincent's stomp had shattered Kennedy's legs, condemning him to a life of disability.
Vincent said expressionlessly, "You'll spend the rest of your days in a wheelchair."
"Take them away!" Vincent ordered.
"Yes!" Soon, soldiers from the Knights dragged Kennedy and Edison out.
As for the remaining hundreds of Wild Warriors members, Galahad arranged for them to be transferred to Round Table's secret prison.
The entire Wild Warriors was thus annihilated.
"Mr. Chesterton, I’m sorry that I failed to protect Mr. Joseph," Stanley said anxiously as he approached Vincent.
Vincent replied calmly, "It's not your fault. I should have been more careful."
Turning to Galahad, Vincent commanded, "Galahad, starting today, mobilize all the elite knights to Cloudtop Villa to serve as the security."
"Yes!" Galahad nodded and promptly went to make arrangements.
"Dad, are you okay?" Vincent walked over to Franklin, looking at him with concern.
Franklin's face fell into a look of despair. The fact that both of his brothers wanted to kill him hit him hard.
He shook his head and said, "I'm fine. I just want to go back to my room and be alone for a while."
With that, he returned to his room.
"Vincent, my dad..." Emma said with worry, watching Franklin leave.
Vincent smiled reassuringly and said, "He'll be fine. Let him have some quiet time to recover on his own."
Meanwhile, outside Cloudtop Villa, Kennedy and Edison managed to escape while being transported. They slipped away when the guards weren't paying attention. After a long time, they crawled out of a dumpster.
Edison gritted his teeth and asked, "Uncle Kennedy, that bastard Vincent was ruthless. He crippled us both. What should we do now?"
Kennedy's face twisted with rage. "All of this is Vincent's doing. I will revenge and make him pay for all of this!"
