Scar crashed heavily to the ground and immediately spat out a mouthful of blood. "You..." He stared at Vincent in disbelief. A single punch had sent him flying—what terrifying strength.
"Weaklings like you should know their place. Power isn't meant for evil. Today, I'll make sure you’ll never use your strength to pick on the weak ever again."
Vincent menacingly walked up to the still-dumbfounded Scar. He then proceeded to stomp down hard, his eyes as cold as ice.
Scar's eyes filled with terror as he screamed, "No!"
Vincent ignored him and brought his foot down on Scar's abdomen.
A bloodcurdling scream echoed as Scar's face turned ashen. Vincent had completely crushed his internal organs. Even if Scar survived, he’d spend the rest of his life in intensive care. The excruciating pain made Scar pass out.
The entire place fell silent as everyone watched Vincent in disbelief. Moments ago, Scar had seemed unstoppable, but now he lay at Vincent’s feet like a dead dog.
Stanley Field breathed a sigh of relief, feeling an even deeper awe for Vincent. ‘A killer like Scar is as fragile as glass before Vincent. His strength is truly unfathomable.’
Vincent lifted his gaze, his eyes still icy, and fixed them on Sid. "Now, it’s your turn."
Sid hadn't expected Scar to be defeated so easily. Scar was hired by him at great cost. Sid had seen Scar win ten consecutive death matches, having killed each opponent. Yet, today, he couldn't even withstand one punch from Vincent. How could someone like him have remained unknown?
As Vincent approached, Sid screamed in fear, "Vincent, what do you want?!"
Vincent's face remained stern. "Didn't you want to break my legs? I'll grant you your wish and break yours instead!"
"Don't come near me! Stay back! I'm from the England Joseph family. If you hurt me, my father will show you a hell you never knew existed!" Sid was utterly terrified. His strongest fighter was no match for Vincent. How could he possibly stand a chance?
Vincent replied coldly, "Your son said the same thing before. Too bad I already crippled him."
"Vincent, don't get cocky!" Suddenly, Norman jumped in front of Sid.
Norman was scared too, but he had no choice. Corey had already been crippled by Vincent. If Sid also got hurt, his powerful family would never forgive him.
But Vincent didn't even bother with Norman.
Smack!
A single slap sent Norman flying.
Sid pleaded, "Vincent, if you let me go, I’ll give you all the money you want. Name your price, and it’s yours!" Despite his outward pleas, he was seething inside. Once he got free, he'd return to the Joseph family and hire as many assassins as it took to kill Vincent.
Crack! Vincent didn't bother to respond and kicked him again.
Sid screamed in agony and fell to his knees. He couldn't believe Vincent actually dared to cripple his legs. ‘Does Vincent truly not fear the wrath of the Joseph family?’
Suddenly at that moment, Galahad burst in with over a hundred warriors.
"My lord, the Knights are at your service!" Galahad performed a knightly salute, looking at Vincent with deep respect.
Vincent said calmly, "Throw all the trash out."
"Yes, my lord!" Galahad waved his hand, and several warriors stepped forward to drag Sid and his entourage out.
Stanley Field hurried over, his every action and expression filled with gratitude. "Mr. Chesterton, thank you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have known what to do today."
Vincent patted Stanley Field's shoulder. "Remember, when you work for me, you always have nothing to fear."
"Yes, my lord!" Stanley Field felt a surge of warmth and determination.
"Vincent, you..." Franklin approached, his face a mix of worry and helplessness. Vincent's ruthless actions in breaking Sid’s legs would undoubtedly provoke a full-scale retaliation from the England Joseph family.
Vincent knew what Franklin wanted to say and smiled. "Dad, don’t worry. Even if they don’t come after me, I'll go after them. They’ve caused me enough trouble. It’s time for me to teach them a lesson."
His expression turned cold, causing Franklin to feel a shiver. The England Joseph family had made a deadly enemy in Vincent.
Two days later, at the Joseph family’s old manor in the suburbs of M City...
As he gazed at Sid lying on a stretcher with his legs ruined, Armand's face was dark with anger.
A doctor finished examination and shook his head. "Mr. Joseph, Master Sid’s leg bones are completely shattered. He’ll spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair."
"Dad, you must avenge me!" Sid wept upon hearing he’d be confined to a wheelchair forever.
Armand gritted his teeth. "What exactly happened?"
Sid cried, "It was Vincent! He broke my legs and took our industrial park project!"
Vincent had already crippled Corey, practically making him a eunuch. Now he had broken Sid’s legs and rendered him a cripple. The Joseph family had suffered repeated losses at Vincent’s hands. Now, Vincent had even seized the M City’s industrial park project. He was the Joseph family’s nemesis. If Vincent didn’t die, the Joseph family would forever be a laughingstock.
Armand was seething with rage. "Vincent! Fine! Just wait. The Joseph family and you are now sworn enemies!" He glared at Norman, who stood nearby with his head lowered.
Norman’s cheeks were swollen from the slap Vincent had given him. Ignoring his injuries, he tearfully pleaded, "Mr. Joseph, this has nothing to do with me! It's all because of that Vincent!"
Armand’s fury intensified. "Your branch of the Joseph family has brought us nothing but misfortune. Coming here was a grave mistake. Guards, take Norman out and give him a good beating. Then withdraw all our investments in M City."
"Yes, sir!" A few guards from the Joseph family stepped forward and dragged Norman away.
Norman screamed desperately, "Uncle, no! Don’t do this!"
‘If Armand pulls out all his investments to the Joseph family in M City, I’ll be completely broke again.’ Norman had struggled to become the head of the Joseph family in M city. Now, suddenly, everything was falling apart.
After a few moments, Norman’s cries were replaced by pained groans. His face was battered and bruised.
"Dad, shouldn’t we gather our forces and head to M City to take down Vincent?" Sid growled angrily.
Armand glanced at Scar, lying crippled on the stretcher, and his expression grew serious. "No, even Scar was defeated by Vincent. It seems I underestimated his strength. We need to investigate him thoroughly first."
