LUCIA TORRES I stood at the gates of the Alpha's mansion, leader of the Thunderstrike pack, my heart pounding with trepidation. Alpha Damian was a man of immense power, revered and feared by many in the supernatural world. Our paths had crossed once and parted. He was a ruthless werewolf, known for his cunning and strength. I knew that reaching out to him was my last hope to save my children but also to warn him of Alpha Iver. The mansion's gates creaked open slowly, and I stepped inside, my eyes taking in the grandeur and opulence surrounding me. The path leading to the main entrance was adorned with statues of mythical creatures, a stark reminder of the world I had left behind when I had chosen a life of normalcy for the sake of my children. As I approached the grand doors, two towering werewolf guards blocked my path. I felt a shiver run down my spine, remembering the stories of Alpha Damian's ruthlessness. The guards eyed me coldly, their eyes sharp and attentive. "Who do you seek?" "I need to see Alpha Damian." I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite the fear gnawing at my heart. The guards exchanged glances before one of them grunted, "State your business." "I... I have urgent matters to discuss with him," I replied, avoiding any specifics. I knew that Alpha Damian valued discretion and would not appreciate any hint of weakness. The guard held a stern gaze on me for a while. Finally, he nodded, and the doors creaked open, granting me access to the mansion's grand hall. "Please come with me," a sentinel wolf said to me, a very beautiful female. She led me through lavish corridors adorned with priceless art and intricate tapestries, our steps echoing on the marble floors. The grand hall itself was awe-inspiring, with high ceilings and a massive chandelier illuminating the space. "You are a legend around here you know?" She spoke, catching me off guard. "Excuse me?" "You are the infamous Lucia Torres who broke Alpha Damian's heart and vanished." "Oh really?" I said feigning ignorance. "You rock, whatever you did or didn't do changed Alpha Damian. He's become a force to be reckoned with, exuding an undeniable aura of power and authority. Standing tall and muscular, he possesses a commanding presence that demands respect. His sharp, piercing eyes, the color of stormy gray, hold an intense gaze that can make even the strongest tremble. Dark, tousled hair frames a chiseled face, accentuating his strong jawline and perfectly sculpted features." "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you have a crush on him." I said with a smile. "I do, who doesn't?" She said smiling. "All the females do but..." She trailed off and lowered her voice. "What?" I whispered expectantly. "Well, he hasn't really let himself go again after you." She said and I became scared about my mission. "Well, I know Alpha Damian's strength lies not only in his physical prowess but also in his cunning intellect and strategic thinking. He navigates the intricate webs of power with calculated precision, always staying one step ahead of his adversaries. His intelligence and sharp wit make him a formidable leader, capable of guiding his pack through the most challenging of situations." I said meditatively and zoned out, deep in thought. "From what we heard about you, I'm sure the pack would have preferred if he was mated to you." She said softly. "Well, I hear he is mated to Ivy." I said smiling as I thought about Damian. Ruthlessness courses through his veins when it comes to protecting his pack and achieving his goals. He is unyielding in the face of opposition, unafraid to make difficult decisions or engage in battles when necessary. Yet beneath his tough exterior, there lies a flicker of vulnerability. He has experienced heartache and loss, which has instilled in him a deep empathy for those under his care. Despite his ruthless nature, he possesses a tender side reserved for those he holds dear. "Oh, someone is up to date." She said with a smile. "How can I not, Alpha Damian is pretty much the a big deal." I paused and took a deep breath. "You know his dominance is unquestionable, and his authority is earned through loyalty and unwavering determination. He inspires fierce loyalty and devotion from his pack, who admire his unwavering commitment to their well-being. He is a skilled communicator, his voice resonating with a commanding yet velvety timbre that captivates those who listen." "How interesting." She said with a smile. "What?" I asked surprised. "I'm willing to bet with my life that there's a possibility of a reunion." "Are you sure you want to make that bet?" "Yes." She said confidently. "And what makes you so sure?" "After the monologue you just delivered, I'm make bold to say that you are not over him." I smiled, she was right but I was not about to tell her that. "You are very wrong, dear one." "Am I?" "Yes, regardless of our history, it's always important to see best in others. Despite Alpha Damian's his dominant nature, he has a capacity for love and tenderness that surprises those who encounter it.He is fiercely protective of his loved ones and will go to great lengths to ensure their safety and happiness. His charisma and charm make him irresistible to those around him, drawing people into his orbit effortlessly." She stopped walking and just listened to me. "Why are we stopping?" "I like your thoughts about Alpha Damian, it's like seeing him through your lens, and now I have even more respect band admiration for him." "Yes, he has that effect on people," I said, turning to face her. "In the complex tapestry of his character, Alpha Damian embodies the duality of a ruthless and dominant leader, tempered with a lovable and savvy nature that adds depth and complexity to his persona." "I couldn't agree more." She said with a smile. "We are here." She said, pointing to a large door. "I wish you good luck in there." She said and turned to leave. "I didn't catch your name," I asked, reaching out to her. "Call me June," she said and was gone.
