Zane's POV
As I sat at the kitchen counter thinking of ways to keep our mate safe I could hear Xander and Jocelyn in the shower together. I was happy that Jocelyn was so accepting of having two mates. I sat there in the dark listening to their love making knowing that morning would be here before long and that we would have a long drive to our pack lands. If we were to shift and run to our pack we would be able to shave off a lot of travel time cutting through the woods but I wasn't sure if Jocelyn would be able to run in her wolf form that long. I heard the shower switch off and knew that Xander would be getting them ready to go to bed now. I knew I should get up and get a shower and some sleep myself but I couldn't bring myself to leave my seat just yet.
