Thorpe attempted to pick up eMax, but the digital cat deftly avoided his hand and followed the tensor through the portal.
“Max,” Thorpe said, “come here, boy.” As he followed them through the portal, eMax turned to look at him, mewed, and scampered after the tensor.
Thorpe looked around at his arrival surroundings. The Sun blazed in the direction he faced wiping out the nearer stars, defining the Ecliptic.
