*Rejected By Alpha's Twins: Chapter 1*

"You are my mates?"

I whispered it. My voice was shaking so bad I could barely hear myself over the kitchen pots clanging. I had waited for this moment for two years. Ever since I turned sixteen and didn't shift, I told myself, when I find my mates, they will love me even if I am wolfless.

Now I am eighteen. Today I shifted. Finally. My wolf, Lulu, woke up inside me, small but alive, howling "Mate! Mate is close!"

And she was right. They were here. In the pack kitchen where I work as cleaner.

Jayden Black stepped back like I was dirty. Like I was trash he stepped on.

"You? You're the omega? The wolfless cleaner? You're our mate?" His blue eyes, the same eyes I dreamed about, looked at me with disgust.

My heart dropped.

"Please," I said. My hands were still wet from dishwater. My cheap cleaner uniform was wet too. "I waited for you."

I looked at Aiden, the other twin. He is identical but his tattoo is on left neck. He always was nicer in my dreams. He would smile at me when I cleaned their office.

But he didn't smile now. He laughed, but not nice laugh. Cold laugh that made all the kitchen staff turn.

"We, Alpha twins of Blood Moon, mated to an omega wolfless human? Never." Aiden's voice was Alpha voice, loud, so everyone in pack house could hear. "The Moon Goddess must be joking."

Selena was behind them. Of course she was. Beta's daughter, perfect, beautiful, already in Luna dress. She smiled.

Then he said the words that killed me.

"I, Alpha Aiden Black, reject you, Mia Summers, as my mate."

The words hit me like a knife. No, worse than knife. Like someone reached inside my chest and ripped my heart out with bare hands.

Before I could even breathe, Jayden said it too.

"I, Alpha Jayden Black, reject you, Mia Summers, as my mate."

Double rejection. Same time.

Pain hit me like someone stabbed my chest and ripped my heart out. I fell on floor, can't breathe. My knees hit the cold kitchen tiles. The dishwater bucket spilled over me.

My new wolf howled in pain inside, so loud I thought I would die. Lulu was crying, "No! No! Mates! Why?"

Blood came from my nose. Real blood. Because rejection pain is real. When Alpha rejects, especially double rejection from twins, your wolf can die. Many omegas die on spot.

Selena smiled. She walked around me, her expensive heels clicking.

"Aww, poor omega thinks she can have alphas," she said loud enough for all omegas watching. "Look at her, bleeding on floor where she belongs. Cleaners should clean floor, not dream of Alphas."

They left me on kitchen floor, shaking, crying, bleeding from nose. Aiden didn't look back. Jayden hesitated one second, his hand twitched like he wanted to help, but Selena pulled him.

Door closed.

I was alone on floor, in dirty water, bleeding.

But what they didn't know - when they rejected me, my wolf didn't die. She woke up fully.

For 18 years my wolf was sleeping because I was blocked. Rejection pain broke the block.

My eyes changed. My hair... I didn't know yet, but that rejection was not the end. It was my beginning.

Lulu's voice inside, no longer small, now strong: _They will regret this. We are not omega. We are White Wolf._
