Chapter 10

Alisyah's P.O.V

The next morning I woke up in Asher's arms around me and hum sleeping peacefully next me. As I tried to move I felt sharp pains in my abdomen and neck. I moved my hand up to my neck and felt the mark left by Knox /Asher, either way. I turned well tired to but eventually managed to turn and searched his neck till finally I caught sight of my own mark left on his neck.

I smiled proudly at it and reached out to brush my fingers over it causing Asher to stir in his sleep. I quickly moved my hand and looked at his face, he looked so peaceful and still handsome as ever even when he sleeps. I reached out once again to touch his face till I made a big mistake by looking down, only then did I realize that we were still naked.

I moved my sight back up to make sure that Asher was still asleep and luckily he was. I then looked back down and reached my hand out to place it on his chest, moving it down to his abs and tracing the lines of his abs and v-line. Asher groaned at my touch and I knew it was because of the sparks, that was in fact much stronger than it was before since we marked each other.

"What are you up to, gorgeous?" I was startled by Asher suddenly speaking and moved my hand quickly, turning a million shades of red due to embarrassment.

"N-nothing." I replied in a small voice still very embarrassed as I kept my sights away from him by hiding my face in my pillow.

I then looked at him when I heard him chuckle, he gazed at me with so much love and adoration in his eyes and I was glad that I'd be the only person that he'd look at this way. I smiled up at him and placed my hand on the side of face and whispered through our link ' I love you'.

Asher smiled and replied back in the same way and started to lean in to kiss but I blocked his mouth and he looked at me confused as to why I did so and I just giggled.

"Morning breath, no kisses till it's gone." I said and quickly jumping out of bed running to the bathroom before he got me, completely not minding that I was still naked.

"Hey come back here!" Asher shouted as he ran after me.

"No!" I replied back slamming the door behind me.

"You better let me in or else." Asher threatened.

"Or else what?" I giggled, not really taking him seriously.

"Or else you're going to have an even bigger problem to deal with once I get my hands on you." Asher threatened through our mind-link and a shiver ran done my spine from the tone he used.

The memories from last night then came flooding back to me and I was a full on blushing mess, it then dawned to me that I'm not in as much pain as a normal person would be after breaking their virginity. My legs are a bit weak but not so much where I couldn't walk so it was a relief, but it still stings a little bit.

Just then I heard Asher call out my name once again and I took in a deep breath then slowly began to unlock the door. Before I could even open the door he barged in, pushing me inside.

"Alright, alright I'm sorry can we just get done now please." I pleaded and let out a few giggles.

Asher smiled and let go of me, moving to go to the bathroom sink and started to brush his teeth. I walked towards him and began to do the same, once we were done we showered and did a few *ahem* things then got out. Asher and I went into our walk-in closet to get our clothes then got dressed, after that we went down stairs to get breakfast with Asher being the one to make it.

"Hey, how about we go for a swim in the lake later, what do you think?" Asher asked as he placed the eggs, bacon and hash browns on our plates.

"Sure that doesn't sound too bad, thanks babe." I replied and thanked him for the food.

"Alright then let's eat."

At that we began to eat and after eating and cleaning our dishes we had a tour of the house as we waited for our food to settle before going to swim. The house was pretty big then what it looked like from the outside and it was beautifully decorated, must have been both moms how had designed the interior of the house. About an hour later we headed back to our room and changed into our swimming wear.

We walked out of the house and went for a swim in the lake and had fun. In that moment we were just a normal newlywed couple and not the Alpha and Luna of the pack. Spending time with Asher was the best time ever and I never would have thought that I'd be this happy 4 months ago.

Finding out that I was the daughter of the run away princess or the target of my own blood trying to kill me because of being a silver wolf. It was all so new to me but now I have Asher, my family, friends and a whole pack beside me when the time comes for this war Justin wants start against me. I am growing stronger each day and I will protect those that I love, even if costs me my life to do so.

"Hey, what are you thinking about? You suddenly just went quiet and I feel how anxious you are, what's the matter?" Asher's voice brought me out of my overthinking as he wrapped his arms around me.

Since we had marked each other, our bond is much more stronger than what it was, so we can feel each other's emotions. But I went can ask well hear each other's thoughts but I put up a blind to keep him from hearing what I was thinking.

"It's nothing I'm just....sigh.....I just wish it was like this all the time, you know and with Justin being this close to us and we don't even know when he'll strike it scares me for the people that I love to be in danger because of me."

"Hey now don't do that." Asher said as he turned me around to face him.

"Do what?" I asked as I gazed into his eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Try to deal and worry about everything on your own when you now have me and more family by your side to support you all the way."

I looked away from him and sighed, I knew he was right but sometimes I can't help it. I've always been on my own, other then Jesse that knew of all the s**t I went through. But when she wasn't around i was alone and dealt with it all alone, so I've always worried on my own.

"I know but-" A rustle in one of the trees caught my attention and I stopped mid-way of my sentence and shot my head in the direction it came from, looking back at Asher it seems he heard it too.

"Something's not right, we have to go now!" I shouted, jumping out of the lake and immediately shifting into Amber with Asher following right after.

"Alisyah you go ahead and alert some of the warriors with Jasper, Cole and Jay, while I search the area, go now." Asher mind-linked me as we ran and all I did was nod my head and said to me careful as I ran towards the pack house to warn the others.

"Carole, I don't have much time to explain but get my parents, Beta Williams and Alpha and also get some clothes for me to change in." I mind-linked her with a heavy amount of urgency in my voice.

"Why? What's going? Are you guys alright?!" Carole (Asher's mom) replied back to me with a very worried and panicked tone.

"Someone entered our territory not one maybe more, I'll explain more as soon as I get there but please just do as I ask. I'll be there soon." After that I shut the link and I continued to run as fast as I could to make it to the pack house.

Just as I made it I spotted my dad and Asher's dad returning from the training grounds, where most of our pack warriors were training, in a fast pace. Carole must have already told them while they were at the training grounds. I ran past my dads and straight to the warriors letting out a howl to grab their attention.

"Attention to every warrior available there are intruders in the territory, Asher is currently chasing after them now, go now and search for others!" I shouted through the link as soon as all of their attention was on me to rely the message.

There was a chores of them all shouting "Yes Luna", then shifting into their wolves to help Asher. I then ran to where all my parents were including Jesse and her father (Beta Williams). My mom had an oversized T-shirt and a pair of shorts in her hands for me to change into.

Once I was changed I went back to where everyone was, noticing the panicked looks on both my mom and Carole's faces, while everyone else had serious and stern looks.

"Someone here, in our pack land, leaked out the information on where exactly which side of the territory our home is when no one other than family and close family friends knows the location. We need to draw out this lovely traitor of ours out of our lands."

Just then Asher walked in along with Jasper, Cole and Jay. I turned towards the door as they walked inside and Asher made his way straight to me while I was relieved he was safe.

"Did you catch them?" I asked as soon as he was close to me.

"No, not yet but the warriors are still out looking." Asher replied as he sat down next to where I was standing.

"Alisyah, what do you mean we have I traitor? For the longest that I have been Alpha of this pack, they have been nothing but loyal to me and their duties to the pack. So, please elaborate on your accusation." Alpha had this very stern tone and a fierce look on his face, as if daring me to go against him.

He may have seen me as a daughter but when it comes to things like this we go against each other as leaders not as family. This is how we learn and what he's saying is not a lie, it is indeed true that this pack has always been loyal but recently for the past two years it has not. For the life of me it caught my attention but with all the s**t and trouble I went through, you think I'd be able to tell anyone about? No.

I turned towards Alpha and held the same strong gaze and expression on my face as I spoke and with the same stern and serious tone, not once letting myself weaver or submit as a normal wolf would do towards an Alpha or wolf with power.

"Alpha, I have known for the past two years about it and when Asher and I shared blood on the night of the ceremony to completely bond with not only my mate but with the entire pack as well I felt it and still do right now. Someone in our beloved pack is helping the person who wants me dead and everyone else around me and will most definitely kill those who dares stands in his way."

"So if you, Alpha, want to continue not believing me then that's on you, I won't argue with you. But I have a family and a pack to protect from that insane man. And I apologize for not informing anyone about it immediately two years ago, since during that time I was still trying to survive from all the stuff that went on in my life and at that time I didn't really know about a lot of things."

Everyone including Alpha, stood speechless after my little speech and all I did at that was stand proud as a Luna should when defending what is important. I turned back as I felt a hand entangle in my own, looking down it was Asher's and he had a look of anger and sadness on his face.

"I'm so sorry Alisyah, I should not have been so rude about and it does not matter if you had not informed us we...I was blind as well when it came to not knowing what you had to go through all on your own. I just hope we can resolve this and stop this person from harming you, our family and our pack."

Alpha was the first one to overcome the shock from my speech earlier and soon after he spoke everyone followed through. I nodded and thanked him for getting my point of view. Everyone then gathered around Alpha's desk which contained the layout of the entire pack territory and parts of the unclaimed or abandoned territories that surrounded ours.

"Alright so, we don't exactly have a certain or pointed location on where Justin might be hiding but I have a strong hunch that he might be closer then we think. He could either be right he-" I had to stop mid-sentence due and unbearable sharp pain that hit in my abdomen. I let out a sharp gasp while using one hand to clutch my stomach and the other gripping the table for balance as I sunk to the floor.

'Amber....w-what's h-happening to u-us?'

'No no, i-it's way too early for it to be happening now! W-we need to get into an ice bath as soon as possible and away from all the men, like right now!'
