Fourteen Watt set a mug down next to me. "Drink. You've gone too long without." "Oh, oops." "What would you do without us?" he joked, though I wasn't foolish enough to miss the hint of concern in his voice. I picked up the mug and took a big swig. The blood slid down my throat with ease, refreshing me within moments. "Thanks." "You're welcome," he assured me. "Now, what else needs doing? I only have an hour before I should get home but..."
