The Alpha's daughter

PROLOGUE "How does it feel?" Genesis refused to meet her mother's eyes. "How does it feel to finally give in to the urge?" The blood that covered the young girl's mouth felt heavy. Her legs gave out and her knees hit the unpaved ground. She ignored the sting that came from her naked knees making contact with the tiny rocks and pebbles that inhabit the ground. Sage dropped in front of her daughter and grabbed her face. Genesis wanted to get away from the evil that was her mother but she was still numb by what had happened. "This is who you are, Genesis." Sage whispered, her wrinkly hand caressing her daughter's face, " You are a beast." Genesis fought the numbness and viciously pulled her face from Sage's palm. " I am not a beast." she argued through the tears, " You may be a beast but I am not one. I am not you." Sage cackled like the witch that she was. "My sweet, Sweet Genesis." She taunted, " Did I force you to do that?" Sage pointed to the dead body of Genesis's one and only friend - Rikard. Genesis refused to look at it. If she did, It would become real. She was still convinced that this was all but a nightmare. Her eyes remained on the ground as she refused to look anywhere else. she was at war against reality. she was refusing reality. she was refusing to admit that the beast Sage was referring to live inside of her. The beast that killed her friend. Sage let out a loud sigh, " The damage is done. I am taking you and my granddaughter home." " No," Genesis screamed and quickly stood up on her feet. "Do you think they'll accept you after this, babe?" Genesis wiped my her nose with the back of her hand then whispered, "Hear my words. God of truth. Erase all of Genesis." Sage's eyes widened once she realized what was done. "You-" Genesis smiled with happiness as she felt the freedom brought by the simple spell. She watched with happiness as her flesh slowly turned into dust.
