Chapter 10It had taken Sof five and a half hours to drive to see me. The bus trip took twelve. I had to get off the bus once in Indianapolis and wait two hours for the next. Then in Ohio I had to get off again for another two hours. There were multiple stops along the way, and I traveled through the night, and if Sof wasn’t upset with me this would all be so much of a more interesting adventure. I was worried sick. I had to see her. I had to fix this. Sof met me at the station, and I easily found her car. All I’d brought with me was my backpack.
