Chapter 21The protests continued, the coronavirus raged on, but I had my family with me. Jax moved out to his own apartment. “Thanks for everything,” he said as I helped him carry his stuff to a friend’s truck. “Thank you. We helped each other.” Sof bought us a bigger bed, giving my smaller bed to Mandy. Now it really hit me that Sof and Mandy were planning to stay this time, not just visit. I looked over the final proof of my book, and it was scheduled to be published in July. I focused on new writing projects, but also on editing the book Sof had written.
