Chapter 20There were talks of opening the country back up again in May, combined with people saying this would cause a second wave of illness. Some people were protesting the stay at home orders, specifically armed white people carrying Nazi or Confederate flags, so I didn’t really sympathize with them. I wasn’t sure if the internet connection at my apartment was jacked up, or if my laptop was just so old it wouldn’t function properly, but it got to the point that I was lucky to even send an email from my computer. I wanted to go to the library to work on my writer’s web site. I wanted to go with my brother to some of the hang outs in town I never ventured to before.
