20 “Thanks for coming over,” Lizzy said as Jenny walked into the house. She rang the doorbell, something Jenny had never done before, and it made Lizzy realize how bad things were. “I’m glad you invited me,” Jenny said honestly. She’d missed Lizzy. More than she wanted to admit. And she was thrilled when Lizzy sent the text inviting her over for lunch.
