I didn't expect that, after what happened earlier, the way I treated Mattheo, he's still concern about me.
Am I that bad or Am I that selfish? Because I only think about myself. I never care about the feelings of people around me.
I am sitting at the tree while holding my breathe.
"Thank you!" I said.
It is the only word that I can say for now.
He just smiled at me.
We remain to be silence.
I don't know how will I face Mattheo after what I did earlier. I didn't treated him nice, instead, I'm being mean to him.
I'm ashamed to myself.
"I'm sorry!"
I heard it from Mattheo. He is looking at me and he's trying an eye contact with me.
"I know I'm a bit selfish for telling you that I like you without thinking what will happen's next!" He added.
"You know what, Collin. You were the first one who'm I fell inlove with, for a long time without telling her that I love her. I know it sounds funny and I'm a little bit corny but I swear, I like you - since day one." He added.
"I still remember the first time that I saw you on the basketball court. You are wearing a pink shirt and a skinny jeans and you used a handkerchief as a headband. You are handling a cookery book. I remember that time, I make a way on you to noticed me. I throw the ball near to you and said that it was just an accident. That was the first day that I met you. I even see that you rolled your eyes on me." He said while smiling.
"Do you still remember all of that?" I asked while looking at him.
*Flashback*
"You know what, Sis? Our science teacher was so mean to me today." said Roxanne, my co - student's council.
I am just laughing at her.
"You know what sis, let's go to the basketball court instead. Let's hunt some cute guys there." She said when laughing and smiling.
"Let's gooooooo," she added while pulling me to the court.
"Look, oh! There's a cute guy over there." She said while pointing her fingers to the guy who is holding the ball.
I laugh at her.
"Is that the definition of cute for you, Roxi? If that's the case, then you could see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Your eyes was - so, eeww! You had a bad taste, huh!" I said while laughing.
She pinch my arms.
"You're so mean, girl! I don't understand why they voted you as the student's council president." She said while smiling.
I laugh at him.
"Well! Let's just say that, I'm so beautiful! So they said that, Oh! Collin - is so beautiful, so let's vote her as the president of the student's council." I said while laughing.
"And then, Boom! I was nominated as the president of the student's council!" I added.
"So, I have the power to rule you." I added while laughing.
"Whatever!" he said then rolled her eyes and laugh.
"Let's take a sit for a moment, Sis! Please." She said while holding her palms together.
"Fine!" I said.
He pulled my hands to the bench.
After I sit down, I open the cookery book that I'm holding.
"You are studying another recipes again, Collin?" She asked while looking at me.
I nod at her.
"Will you please do it later? We're here to look for cute guys, not for that!" She said while trying to convince me.
"This will take only a few minutes, promise!" I said.
"Okay! Fine!" She said.
Then I was looking at my cook book when the ball accidentally go near me.
"Luh, Friend! Are you okay?" She said while holding my shoulders.
"What was that?" I said while looking at her.
I saw the ball beside me.
I shouted.
"Who did this?" I shouted.
Then someone slowly come near me.
He raised his two hands and say, "Sorry, Miss!"
I love at him.
"Girl, he was the boy I am talking about. He is the cute boy, I said earlier." She said while holding my arms and shaking it.
"Hmm, Miss. Look. I didn't mean it. But I'm so sorry. By the way, you look familiar. You must be?" He said while looking at me.
He's giving me his hands for shake hands but I refuses it.
"Will you please, turn around?" I said when I look at him straightly in the eye.
He follows me. He turned around and raised his two hands.
"You can face me now!" I said.
"Girl, stop. He said he didn't mean it. It's okay girl! You said you didn't get hurt." said Roxanne while shaking my arms.
I removed Roxanne's hands off me.
"Hold it for a while, Roxi!" I said and gave my book to her.
I pick up the ball to the ground and hold it with my two hands.
I look at him in his face.
"Mr. Smith, I hope, this will never happen again. Or else, I will talk to your coach and superior and I will never hesitate to remove you from the master lists of the varsity team." I said to him.
Then I gave the ball to him.
Before I turn back, I turned my body and look at him again.
"One more thing, Mr. Smith! I am Collin Fernandez. I am the president of the student's council. And Everything that happen now will be reported in the office. So next time, please be more careful." I said then I walk away from him.
*End of Flashback*
"I will never forget the first time that you acted rude at me. Even if you talk to me like that, I don't know why I still find you, look so cute when you're mad." He said while smiling.
I don't know what I should feel.
"I was transferred to our school that time because I got a scholarship and offered from varsity team." He said.
"After that scene, I never stop looking for your section and luckily, I found out that we are classmates." he added while smiling.
I took a deep sigh.
"I didn't know that you are that, Mr. Smith that I met in the basketball court." I said then laugh.
"Uhm, But, wait! You said you got a scholarship. But I know you are adopted by a rich man, right? But why you still take the scholarship?"I asked while looking at him.
" It's just happened that, I really love sports so, different opportunity come to me. Especially the chance to have a scholarship in our school" He said while smiling.
I just smile at him.
I know you feel embarrassed because of my confession, but don't worry. I will never force you to love me back.." He said.
I heard he took a deep sigh before he spoke again.
"I'm happy that you already know my secret. And now, I promise that I will do my best, just to prove to you that unsaid feelings that I keep for a long time." He said.
I don't know what I should feel. I am embarrased to bond with him. I don't want to feel thing something like sh*t in my heart. But all I know is, he is the one who treated me the way, I deserve to be treated.
