There are lot of names included in this novel, so please, don't be confused. ~ Prologue A loud knock from the door awaken me and it's mom. It sounds different this time. I feel like there's something happened or happening. "Wait, mom." I said while stretching my body. "Come on! Open the door, Collin! It's emergency" said mom while still knocking the door. Wait, what? What's happening. After I open the door my mom grab my hand and it looks like there's something wrong with her. "Your Aunt Eva. Samuel killed her. And they said he gets the heart of his mother and he eated it." said mom while she's in panic mode. I fastly go downstairs and I was shock when I saw people in the road walking with blood in their body. "Don't open that f*****g door." my brother shouted. "They will kill us. Once you open it, there's no way to escape. We will be like them." my brother added. "Your friends, all of your friends killed and eat their family just like what evils do." said mom while she looks at me badly. "And I will not surprised if you do the same thing." "No, mom. I will not do anything to hurt you." I inhaled as after looking at her. I'm looking at her and show her I will not cause any harm but she gets a knife at her left side and hold it and want to stab me but she's now lying at the floor. Someone pushed her. And that was Mattheo at the side of my eyes but I run fastly to mom then he slowly open her eyes. "Let's go, Collin. We have to go." Mattheo grab my arms and run away from mom. "You hurt her. I hate you! Let go of me Matt. Let go of meee!" I said while I shouted at him. "No I won't. I need to save you from her and keep you away from here. You might get infected too when she kill you, he will bite you and get your heart." said Mattheo. I heard his deep sigh. I'm speechless. I don't understand what's happening. "She maybe infect by Samuel's family." he slowly said while looking around. We're in a dark room. It has only small space and can only accomodate two to three people. "All of our friends are already infected. They start the spreading. I'm scared because sooner or later, we might be infected too." said Mattheo with a very low voice. We could do nothing but to wait what would happens next. And I find myself crying silently. And all I can do is to wipe my tears. "Hey! stop." said Mattheo while looking at me. "It's not helping." I was in a mental block since earlier. My mind is not working. "Maybe we can go outside at evening. I hope lights off helped us to survive this day." said Mattheo. He gave me a bottled water and a biscuit. "I have a few drinks, a biscuits, powerbanks, charger, a firstaid kit and some small stuff like shirts. And this, to protect us when they attacked us surprisingly." Mattheo added. "Thankyou." Yeah! At this moment, all I can say is thankyou. No other words. Lord help us. Help us survive this epidemic. I am looking at him when a question suddenly popup in my mind. "Why you know that there's a spreading outbreak?" "Huh?" his tone was calm. I get the rattan at my side and hold it then put the edge of it in his face. "Are you infected too? Sooner or later you will kill me then, huh?! Just tell me the f*****g truth Mattheo!"I shouted. He suddenly go close to me and cover my mouth. "Do you think I can rescue you if I am infected too?" he said while he's raising an eyebrow. "I don't know. I don't believe you." I pushed him away. "Don't touch me. Just stay there and don't you dare come near me." I added. "Come on! You have to trust me. Coz all we have right now, is ourselves,and this bag." he said and then point his fingers to his bag. "You shhoou . . ." He pointed his finger to my lips reason for me to stop talking. "Ssssssssshhhhhhhhhh!" we need to be safe so be quiet.
