Mattheo

While we are having a rest, Collin's eyes was just stick at me. She's looking at me as if she had something to tell me.

And when I turn my eyes to Sir Manoy, I saw that he's staring at me and Collin while he's smiling.

"Are you okay, Sir Manoy? The way how you look at us. It looks like there's something you want to ask. What is it, Sir!" I said while looking at him.

"Nothing ijo. I'm just happy that when I look to the both of you, I feel the spark between you and her." said the old man while I still see the smile in her face.

I look to Collin and I caught her looking at me.

"We are not compatible to each other, Sir. In fact, we're like cats and dogs. We are always fighting. So I know that is impossible to have you and me." she said while pointing her fingers to me and to her.

I smirk.

Sometimes, when I'm with her and everytime that I realize that I need to grab the chance to tell her what I feel for her, I feel so shy and nervous. To the point that my tongue don't want to spoke anything. I was like, speechless boy who is scared to feel rejection.

"You know what, ija and ijo? You look good together, so why don't you just try! What if it works!" Said the old man while smiling.

I look at her and I know she knows it.

"Stop teasing us, Sir. I know that this guy," she said while pointing her fingers to me.

"Will never fall inlove with a woman like me. And that's the period." She added.

If you could only know what I really feel for you, Collin. You don't have to look for the reason. No more explanation, I love you for who you are and I accept you even if you are in doubt.

"Let's go." said the old man. He stand up and started to walk then we just follow him.

In a few moments, we remain to be silent.

Collin is enjoying, holding in my arms.

"By the way, What is the reason why you go to that trip last time?" The old man asked.

We have different reasons why we choose to join in that trip. And my reason is, I want to spend time with Collin and I think that was my chance but look at what happen.

"Me," said Collin while holding her chest.

"I want a peace of mind. Because this fast few months, I can't stop myself from over thinking. Do you know the feeling that, you know you're okay but you don't understand why your feeling shows that it's not." She added.

"I'm not that kind of girl who will act like a sad girl for the sympathy and attention of other people. In fact, I'd rather spend time to myself than spend time with someone who doesn't understand how I feel." she said while looking from a far.

I know she's trying to prevent her tears from falling.

I just hug her and touch her back and comfort her.

I don't know that she's struggling in that kind of situation because, when you look at her, she actually look so okay but behind her beautiful smile is hiding a deepest pain that she did want to release it.

"And how about you, ijo? What is your reason why you go to that trip?" The old man asked.

I take a deep sigh before I speak.

I saw Collin looks at me.

"Just like what I've said to you last time, Collin, I am a product of abandoning a child. I was one of that. So that when uncle Nathe decided to adopt me, I though that was the most happiest things that will happen to my life. But I was wrong." I said while looking at hem.

The old man is also looking for me while listening.

"Uncle Nathe's real son and I is having a misunderatanding until it become worst and worst." I said.

"I don't know what will I do. I treated him as my real brother. He became angry at me even if I didn't do anything. to him. I love him! Because they treated me as a member of the family even if I'm adopted. They didn't show me bad things." I added.

I took a deep sigh.

"We are here!" said the old man.

We look at him at then we look at each other,

"I will go first then you go next, okay?" said the old man.

We just nod at him.

We are here, outside the the old house where they said, you can found here the most dangerous creature and the one who started the curse.

I take a deep breathe before I look to Collin. She's trying to reach what is going on inside.

"Ahm, Collin!" I whispered.

She looks at me at the expression of her face is like, asking why.

"Is there any problem you want to say, Mattheo?" She said while looking at me.

"You know that you can tell me everything, right?" She added.

I sigh.

"Hey, Mattheo! Why are you just looking at me. Hey!" She said while shaking my arms.

"Mattheeeoooo! Are you okay?" She added.

I'm just looking at her. I was about to expose my feelings for her but now, I'm speechless. No words, want to come out from my mouth.

I was shock when she suddenly slap my face, reason for me to go back in reality.

"Ouch! Collin!" I said while holding my face and rubbing it.

"Why did you do that to me! Did I make something bad to you, reason for you to slap me, huh!" I said while looking at her.

"Sorry, Matth!" She said while holding my face.

"You don't want to speak! You're just looking at me and I don't know why you acted like that, and, slap you in your face, is the only way I know to bring you back in the reality. Are you okay, Mattheo?" she added.

I just nod at her.

"You know, I don't believe you! I know there's something bothering you. And please, don't make me feel worry about you! We don't have time to think about that, right?" She said while she's looking at me.

I nod at her again.

After a few minutes of being silent, I gained courage to tell her what I feel for her.

"I like you, Collin. I really like you." I said while looking from a far.

I'm shy to look at her so I decided to look from a far, instead.

"Huh!" She said. and I know she wrinkled her forehed.

"What did you just said earlier?" Sha added.

I took a deep sigh before I look at her.

"I said I like you." I said while looking at her.

But she just laugh at me. She is hitting my arms while laughing. This girl is a totally insane.

"Don't fool me, mattheo. It's not the right time for you to joke!" she said while continuesly laughing.

"I'm telling the truth, Collin!" I said while looking at her.

Then I turned my eyes from a far.

"I started to like you since day one. I'm always looking at you whenever you're everywhere. Since then, even if you always treating me not that nice. I'm always trying to put myself near you. I want to be close to you ever since I saw you. You're so pretty in my eyes and I don't know why I feel you that way." I said and take a deep sigh.

"My intention to you was pure. I don't want to interrupt you, nor your life and feelings. I just know that, finally! I already said my unsaid feelings to you." I added.

I take a deep sigh.

"You don't have to say anything. I'm just happy that I already say it to you and now, you already know it." I said while still looking a far.

I look at her and hold her hands.

"But Collin, No matter what happen's next, even if this day, I will turned as a zombie like them, please, Collin! Always remember that I will always guide you no matter what! Even if I'm not with your side anymore. I'm always here for you. I love you, Collin!" I said while looking at her.

"Don't worry. I will not force you to return my feeling, or, rule you to love me the same. Just accept it. Don't worry! I will never bother you and never make anything to interrupt you. I like you? That's it. I love you? That's it. No explanation. But I hope, nothing will change between us." I added.

Finally! I already said it to her. There is no turning back. I will face this. And no matter what happen to our friendship, I hope that it never affects because of her feelings to me.
