“It’s okay, Aria,” Jace said, pulling away from her. He walked closer to me. “You said Celeste is missing? How do you know?”
“She never came home,” I explained, my words rushing out. “She’s always home before me. I went to her workplace, but it was closed. I called her a hundred times, but her phone is off. She would never do this. Never. Something bad happened, I know it.”
Jace looked at me for a moment. “Maybe she went to a club or something. Just wait until tomorrow morning.”
