Both of them were looking at each other gloomily, they didn't dare to do anything. who knows what this old monster from ancient era would do if gets angry. Even though the young man infront of them looked very delicate and harmless but they knew very well that what being buried here means. They were inside one of forbidden ground after all.
Eyes closed, Ray had been sorting out his memories. He couldn't even count how many years he had passed in slumber. The last memory he could remember was that when he battled against those otherworldly beings, he won the battle narrowly and fell into an unknown location. The Leaf of Creation was lost. He was seriously injured at that time and was irrecoverable. So he created this coffin, destroyed his fleshy body and covered the coffin with time fluid. So many years passed by, after waking up he regained a new body.
Ray slowly opened his eyes and looked at the two infront of him and asked.
"Do you want to go out?" His voice was deep and steady.
Both were already frightened and didn't dare to neglect as they hurriedly answered. "Ye....yes...your excellency, we want to go out. Your excellency is magnanimous and wise..."
Ray interrupted the old man’s flattering and moved out. The two of them hastily followed behind because this might be their only chance of getting out. So they had to gamble.
Ray Walked out of the Graveyard and looked around, squinting his eyes slightly. He could sense the presence of many undead and monstrous creatures all around, infact he had already sensed them while he was in the mansion but he couldn't expand his soul power too much.
He chuckled slightly and didn't mind those creatures as he leisurely strolled. Both the old man and middle aged man followed closely behind. They were extremely nervous, each one of those monsters could tear them apart alive.
Ray walked as everything stood aside, giving him ways. What ghouls, what undead and what primordial monster beast they didn't dare to approach him. Whenever Ray passed by those monsters they lower their head and didn’t dare to look up. Such a scene astonished the two of them, they felt excitement and fear.
"What's your name?” Ray asked while walking.
"This little one’s name is Arnold Servia and he is my house’s steward Jake." The middle aged man replied in a humble tone.
Actually he wasn't as lowly as he sounded right now, he was a very influential figure in the outside world. With his power he could easily be ranked among the top powerhouses but in here he could only be food for others.
They walked out of the Colossal abyss with no difficulty. Both Arnold and Jake couldn't believe their eyes that they came out so easily. They sighed in relief. But suddenly a sharp pain made them groan. Those previous injuries burst opened and blood started flowing.
"What's going on!" Both of them became frightened.
"Both of you have been infected with ghoul seeds when you were injured. It started reacting now because these ghoul seeds can't survive outside the blood mists, they haven't matured yet. Ghoul seeds use’s the bloody fog of the Colossal Abyss as nourishment. You came out of there before the ghoul seeds could mature, without proper maturity the larvas would explode along with their hosts." Ray explained to them indifferently.
"Ahh, then what will happen to us!!!" The old man asked, agitated.
" Death." Ray said casually.
Arnold was very calm, he took a deep breath and asked. "Your excellency, does holy water work against these creatures?"
Ray shook his head slightly. “But Its not impossible to save you." He added.
Hearing this, both of them dropped to the ground and prostrated. Ray understood their mind and intentions so he didn't beat around the bush, making them groan in pain any longer.
"Stand up you two, meeting you is fate so I'll grant your wish." Ray waved his hand and an invisible hand made them stand up.
A strand of golden light shot from his finger and enveloped them. After the light dissipated no injuries could be seen on their body.
They sighed in amazement by this magical power, to their understanding even a rank nine holy lord might not be able to save them.
They kowtowed again, Ray accepted their gesture with a nod.
"Let’s go.” Ray said.
After walking for an unknown amount of time they completely arrived at a safe area outside. The sun shone brightly above, gentle sun light covered the green mountains and trees. The scenery made Ray a little emotional. How many years has it been since he last bathed in sunlight? He took a deep breath and started enjoying the atmosphere.
