Chapter 37 : Clara's big sister?

" Elder Hopp did you find any clues? " An old man with long beard asked. He was the second elder assigned for the investigation.
" No. The culprit is extremely cautious. But it is likely to be that he is from other sect or empires. " Elder hopp replied.
" I heard he calls himself messenger of justice. " Third elder said contemplating.
" Messenger of justice? This name sounds familiar. " Elder hopp said rubbing his chin.
" Grand elder just sent a message that he'll dispatch his direct disciple to help us find the criminal. " Fourth elder said.
" What! Chen fan? He never involves himself in outside matters but why suddenly.... " Second elder frowned.
" Isn't it a good thing for us? We can get into grand elders good side through Chen fan. " Third elder said with a laughter.
" This Chen fan is not so simple. He isn't grand elders inner disciple for nothing. Be carful while you carry out your duty. If you spot the criminal don't try to engage in a direct fight, give a signal and wait for us. Everyone dispatch immediately. " Elder hopp ordered in a dignified voice.
All of them spread out in each direction with haste.
Ray woke up in the morning as he yawned while rubbing his eyes.
Cheerful laughter could be heard from the other side of the room.
" Aunt silvi you'll wake up big brother if you shout so loudly." Clara said sheepishly.
" So what if he wakes up, if he dares to say anything your aunt here will beat him up. " Silvia said protruding her chest proudly.
" Aunt are you strong? " Clara asked tilting her head sideways
" Yeep...I'm very strong. " Silvia said showing off her thin bicep muscles.
" Aunt can you save my big sis from those bad guys? " Clara asked directly looking in her eyes.
" Your sister? You have a sister? Where is she now? What happened? " Silvia asked frowning.
" My... sis...sister and i got separated. I don't remember from where but they took me and my sister away. I met big brother back then, he saved me but i don't know about my big sister. " Clara said with tearful eyes.
" Alright don't cry. I'll save your sister. " Silvia said comforting as a sharp glimmer flashed in her eyes.
" Promise? "
" Yes, It's a promise. "
" Hmm? Why is she crying? " Ray asked leaning against the door.
" Humph...What does it have to do with you? It's a girl to girl talk, you don't belong here. " Silvia gave him a side eye.
" Okay okay. Breakfast is ready hurry up then. " With that said Ray left.
" Aunt is it alright to not tell big brother? " Clara asked lowering her head.
" Yes. If you tell your big brother about it then big brother may have the idea to save your sister, big brother isn't as strong as your aunt so the bad guys might hurt him and you don't want that to happen right? " Silvia said with a smile.
" Yes. I don't want anyone to hurt big brother. " Clara said worriedly.
" Thats right, so we don't need to tell him about this. I'll bring back your sister. " Silvia gave her a proud smile.
Clara nodded her head like a chicken pecking on rice.
They both left the room for breakfast.
Wild flower mountain peak of blood demon sect. It was the place were grand elder of their sect lived. A stalwart middle aged man meditated over a rock as the cold refreshing water cascading over him. He wasn't actually sitting over the rock more like he was floating. His body was only an inch away from touching the rock, not too far away a skinny young man prostrated, bowing his head down toward him. An unknown amount of time later he opened his deep eyes and looked at the skinny young man.
" Chen fan, you never had any interest in mundane matters. Why now of all time? " Grand elder asked.
" I heard that a strong enemy appeared so i want to test my new methods and skills as well, it'll be a small merit to the sect if i could capture that foe alive but i dare not go outside without your order master. " Chen fan said still prostrating.
" As the saying goes a caged tiger couldn't hunt a wild boar unless it experience the fierceness of nature. Alright, you can go but be careful, sect has high expectations from you." Grand elder said slowly.
" Yes master, I won't let you down." Chen fan said.
Grand elder nodded and gestured him to leave, Chen fan respectfully left the wild flower mountain.
