Chapter 38 : Heading to Jedan city.

"Clara, we'll leave the city at noon. Be prepared." Ray said slowly .
" Huh..!why so soon big brother, I haven't found my si..." Before Clara could finish her sentence Silvia interrupted her.
" It's alright Clara, I'll go and fetch that doll you want, so you should go with big brother."
" Okay, Don't catch up with us soon, give me a little break." Ray said, rubbing his forehead.
" You.... I'll smash your head once I get back." Silvia exclaimed angrily and left.
Clara tilted her head sideways, not knowing what was going on . They seem to always be fighting.
Blood demon house, a small branch of the blood demon sect inside Red Light City.
" My cordial greetings to all elders . I'm Chen fan, my master said that i should go and gain some experience outside while i assist all of you to catch the murderer of my fellow brothers. Please guide me." Chen fan said with a slight bow. His eyes explained everything.Although he greeted all the elders, there was no sincerity in his voice. It was plain and flat with a little touch of arrogance.
" Hahaha nephew Chen, you are young and talented and have a bright future ahead, not like our old bones. It is us who needs your help. We are very happy to have you assist us." the third elder said with laughter.
Chen fan nodded .All the elders became extremely dissatisfied by his arrogant behaviour but they have to keep a smiling face in front.
"Elder Hopp, don't you think this masked person and all these things about bringing justice are a bit familiar?" Chen fan said, looking at elder Hopp.
" Hmm ...I thought so too but couldn't remember." Elder Hopp contemplated a little and agreed.
" Elder Hopp, did you forget about the incident that happened a hundred years ago at the 'Northern's all Hero' competition where my senior brother was killed?"
" Ohh ...how could i forget about that matter? Yes, after the investigation, the sect had found that his death was related to a masked person. Are you saying both of them are the same person? I weren't present at that time in the competition so i missed out on many details."
" Yes . I strongly suspect both of them are the same person. Whether it is vengeance or not I'll make him pay." Chen fan said emotionlessly.
" If there's nothing else, I'll go outside to take a look." With that said, Chen fan left, not waiting for their answer.
" Such insolence. Does he think he is a prince or something! " Elder Hopp snorted angrily.
" Clam down brother Hopp. It's not the time to lose our cool." Fifth elder said from the side.
" Give me a detailed report of the incident that happened a hundred years ago in one hour." Elder hopp ordered.
" Yes." A disciple bowed and left in a hurry.
" Senior Brother Chen, what did the elders say? " A disciple asked, seeing that Chen fan came out. His name was Kalya, one of Chen fan's henchmen.

" Where to? "
" To bait out the rat," Chen fan said in a plain voice. Hearing this, kalya's eyes lit up as he understood something.
" Senior brother is wise." He praised happily.
" Any news about the swine that escaped?"
" No. We haven't found anything at all. Maybe she had left the city already." Kalya replied.
" No matter. Take my token and send a trained assassin to hunt her down. I want her to die in half a month and also inform lady Celia to help me find a replacement."
" I won't let you down, senior brother." Kalya left hurriedly.
' They should have left the city already by now. I hope that guy doesn't get into trouble by his carelessness. ' Silvia thought in her heart. Now she was wearing her black mask and cloak. She jumped and flew from one place to another. Her movements were extremely fast and swift. Normal cultivators won't be able to detect her movements at all. She blended with the air and moved freely.
Ray and Clara sat in the carriage, driven by the three-headed bull. It slowly drove the carriage toward 'Jedan' city. It was a little far from Redlight city, and the blood demon sect didn't have a strong influence in Jedan city. Jedan city was very close to the territory of the azure sky sect. The Azure sky sect and the blood demon sect didn't have a harmonious relationship, they are in constant fighting. If any blood demon disciple breaks into sky sects territory, they will be killed without mercy and same goes for the disciples of the azure sky sect . Break into blood demon sects territory and you'll die no matter the reason . For them making peace was not an option. Of course, they maintained a peaceful atmosphere on the surface. They couldn't fight openly or else the other two forces would interfere in this matter because their clashes regards the safety of northern state.
Ray knew where Silvia had gone and also knew the reason, but he wasn't worried about her. Everyone has their own fate and destiny. He meditated inside the carriage with his eyes closed and Clara sat beside him silently. Time passed by as Ray slowly opened his eyes.
" Big Brother, what were you doing?" Clara asked, seeing him waking up. She thought that he was sleeping, but is there anyone who sleeps while sitting? Thats unheard of .
" I was meditating," Ray replied with a smile .
" What is medita ...tie ...ing. " She asked, tilting her small head .
" If someone meditates, it can keep him healthy and perfect."
" So can I do it too?"
" Of course you can." Hearing his words she instantly copied him and sat in a crossed leg position. After a few minutes, she became tired and fell down .
" Big Brother it is too hard ... I can't do it." She said gloomily.
" It's alright, you can learn it when you get older."
Ray was enjoying the scenery while Clara asked him questions from time to time. She didn't know anything about the outside world, so whenever she saw any beasts she would ask him about it. Her eyes were filled with curiosity. Ray answered all her questions, not getting annoyed.
