Along the way there was no trouble for them , quiet and peaceful journey . Ray and clara reached the city in half a month . Jedan city wasn't as bustling as red light city but it looked very peaceful, giving off a sense of serenity . At first Ray wanted to cross the border and go to jade water city which was under the jurisdiction of azure sky sect but he thought that clara might get bored staying in the carriage. Even if she doesn't complain Ray can see that from her gestures. Thats why he stopped in jedan city to take a break . After a one nights rest there he wants to head toward jade water city .
" Big brother i'm hungry."
" Okay lets go and have a big meal ."
Clara nodded happily . Both entered a tavern and sat in a window side table . Ray ordered a wine for him and a full grilled chicken for clara .
" Big brother why aren't you eating?"
" I'm not hungry ." Ray shook his head slightly.
" Okay ."
' Clank clank clank ' few people barged in with an arrogant manner ,threw a pouch to the keeper's desk and shouted.
" Our family young master will celebrate a feast here, so empty this place as soon as possible."
Some people glanced at each other confusingly. " Who are they telling us to get out? We payed too, not eating here for free. "
" Husshh... you don't know them...they are from vallal family and its better not to mess with them, they are blood demon sects subordinate family . " Someone explained in a low tone.
People left one after another, no one wants to get into trouble. Only Ray and clara kept eating.
" Hey boy didn't you hear what we said? Get out or else don't blame this uncle for forcefully throwing you out. " A burly man shouted at Ray.
Clara peeked at Ray just to see that he was still drinking wine looking outside, not minding the guy.
" Good good good, i've seen many arrogant people but not an arrogant ant like you. " That burly man said in anger.
All of them surrounded Ray and clara, they exuded blood thirsty aura which frightened clara. She hid behind Ray and pulled his sleeves.
" Kill him and show everyone that no one can disobey vallal family in jedan city. " That burly man ordered.
Spectators outside sneered at Ray but also felt a little sad for clara. After all she was still just a child.
" That kid is so bold. Who is he? "
" He can go to his death alone, why drag that child into this. "
" Thats why ignorance is a sin. " An old man lamented imagining both of their fate.
" Humph... he wants so show off infront of his daughter but doesn't know that he dug his own grave. " Another one sneered.
" These vallal family guards had always been cruel and arrogant, they definitely won't let them live. "
Hearing the burly mans order another guard took action, he extended his hand forward and grabbed toward Ray. Just as the hand was about to reach his head it fell to the ground with a thud sound. The guard felt confused and looked at his hand, only to see it was cut off cleanly from his elbow. He became frightened and wanted to scream but his head exploded with a popping sound. Brain juice and blood sprayed all over .
Silence, pin drop silence everywhere. Those guards and others outside looked at each other with confusing gaze, not knowing whats going on.
" I'll give you all another chance to live. Get out at once or else your fate will be just like him. " Ray said flatly.
Those guards were already afraid after seeing their companions death. So Rays words were like amnesty from heaven, they left in a hurry not daring to look back.
They knew that this time they have encountered a young genius.
So it was better for them to leave.
" Ooww..who's this kid? Daring to kill vallal family guards. "
" Where's he from? "
" Will vallal family let this matter go? "
" It all depends on that young man about how he conduct himself with them. If he keeps his arrogance then it can only lead to his death but if he compromise and apologise then nothing will happen. "An older cultivator said after contemplating.
" I don't think he'll compromise judging by his behaviour. "
" Hard to say. Infront of absolute power, everything is meaningless. Don't forget vallal family has a saint. That kid is so young, he can be a sage at best. "
People exclaimed and whispered to each other.
Clara slowly opened her eyes and wanted to look around to see what happened but Ray stopped her, not letting her to see.
" Let's go we are done here. "
" Okay. " She nodded.
Ray didn't let her look sideways because she might get afraid after seeing that bloody scene. Ray and clara walked out of the tavern as people gave a way for him. No one dared to stop him.
They saw his silent and ferocious means.
