Chapter 47 : Judgement of Heaven.

" Mother... what happened to you! " A boy asked his mother seeing her painful expression.
" I...i....wa..." She wanted to say something but suddenly she stabbed the boy with a kitchen knife. Black smoke oozed out from her eyes. Her expression was hideous.
" Mother....why..." Even though the boy knew something definitely was wrong but he still couldn't believe he'll die by the hand of his mother.
" Father... no...don't do this... I'm your little efil.... " A father cut her daughter in two halves as she died indignantly not knowing her crime.
" Husband.. what..happened to yo.....u..." A man killed his wife by suffocation.
Small resentment turned to the extreme, small grudge turned into a bloodbath. Years of suffering and vengeance turned into a demon which corroded the human heart completely. No one was a saint and no one was innocent. Even a person with a pure heart would feel sadness one day and a person full of kindness would feel hatred one day. As long as they are alive they will have seven emotions and six desires. Even saints and demons are no exception.
Heavenly paragons observed everything from above as the world slowly plunged into darkness.
" This is madness. " A Heavenly paragon exclaimed.
" If things goes on like this then I'm afraid heavenly judgement will descend. And once it does even we can't survive. " Another Heavenly paragon said.
Now in the whole celestial world only six heavenly paragons remained.
" Brother mad sword few things are inevitable, I felt a calling from above. " An old man with scholarly appearance said.
" You felt it too snail monarch? " The middle aged man named mad sword asked.
" Yes. Think about it. Maybe this is retribution, the darkness is heavens messenger and wants to punish these mortals and cultivators on behalf of the heaven. We felt the calling at the same time it means we are favoured by heaven. " Snail monarch said.
" What does everyone think? " Mad sword asked the other fours opinion.
" Is it really alright to leave things as it is? Heavenly judgement will spare no one. The celestial world will turn to nothingness. "
" Daisy king we all know that you are very kind and gracious but i hope in times of need you'll keep in mind the overall situation which won't affect others negatively. Just for this lowly mortals do you want to go against the heavens messenger? " Blue blood paragon retorted.
" I agree. We have done what we could, now its time to let go of the shackles of mundane world. We all are great heavenly paragons should know when to let go and when to hold. " Snail monarch said and nodded in agreement.
Daisy king didn't say anymore. He just looked at the sky and sighed.
" Alright its decided then. Lets ascend together. " Mad sword finally made a decision.
Everyone gave a one last look at the chaotic world below, the six if them turned into a stream of light and disappeared in the horizon.
" Where's our ancestor? " A sect master wanted to get help from his ancestor but found the house empty.
Six great sect which was the overlord in celestial world panicked in the lack of absence of their ancestor. They believed they could turn any crisis into a blessing with the help of their ancestor but now their ancestors was missing.
" No....our ancestor won't abandon us right?" Many people lamented and cried out in fear.
They had to stay vigilant constantly, not to let the darkness evade their heart.
They looked at the dark sky above and sighed helplessly.
Suddenly a deafening thunder rumbled in the sky as the whole celestial world trembled slightly. The darkness started to sweep away slowly. People could see a vast sea of lightning hanging above the sky .
" Noo....the heaven is about to send its judgement. Everyone will perish. Even the heaven abandoned us. " People cried out in fear mournfully.
Loud rumbling noises reverberated in each corner of the celestial world as if it came directly from the vault of heaven. People shivered in fear.
Inside an inconspicuous land, a pair of huge black eyes opened. It's aura looked otherworldly as if not belonging to this world.
" I still couldn't find it. No big deal, I'll just take over this world and search every corner. Then lets see how long can it hide from me.
But first i need to stop the judgement from descending. " It spoke in an ancient language.
