Chapter 10 : Ice and Snow Sword.

Lotus Empress floated in midair, she looked at Ray with an icy gaze. A huge Lotus flower bloomed behind her with blinding radiance. The huge Lotus turned into a long spear. It gave off an extremely ancient breath, almost reaching the true path of Origin. She held the spear with one hand and overlooked everything from above just like a goddess descending from heaven to punish all sinful mortals.

"Heaven Sealing Spear." She murmured, but her voice echoed throughout the entire world. She didn't waste her breath in words but attacked instead. She truly felt a sense of unease pervading her heart while facing Ray.

She threw the spear at Ray. It crossed through time and space in an instant and arrived before him. It was so fast that those spectators watching the battle with intent gaze couldn't even get a glimpse. They felt their scalps going numb thinking, if they were in his shoe, what would have happen to them? Instant death without resistance. They might die even before the spear could pierce their throat.

Just as the spear was about to reach him, Ray moved his hand at lightning speed and flicked his finger. He didn't exert any immortal light nor did he use any heaven-defying cultivation techniques, but a crisp sound echoed as the spear broke into countless fragments. Such a scene horrified the Lotus Empress. She coughed out blood, her face turned pale.

Spectators who were watching the battle couldn't believe their eyes. A Godking's full strength attack was nullified just like that.

"What's going on?" Someone screamed with wide eyes.

"He is a master of space-time singularity." A knowledgeable powerhouse explained from the side.

"Huh!! What's this singularity you speak of?

"I only heard about it from our ancestor. When a person uses a singularity, the law of space and time will break down where the singularity is pointed at. That spear used the law of time and space, even if it's a heaven-frightening weapon, it is still bound by the laws of nature. His finger is the focal point of an infinite level of Qi force. To understand the profoundness of how to condense infinite amount of Qi force in a single point, one needs to reach the realm of venerable. The condensed amount of infinite Qi force broke the normal law of space and time. Since the law is broken, the weapon has become useless because it can't draw out the power from the law and turned into a normal weapon." He explained.

Everyone nodded with understanding." I heard when a person becomes a venerable he can understand the profound mysteries of the world. The worldly law's can't hide from his eyes as he can bend the law's at their whim. With an extreme understanding of the mysteries of the world, they can create a point of singularity."

Lilith was watching the battle from far away. She looked at the battlefield with a worried gaze. She never imagined that her opponent would be a peak Godking, but heaven didn't abandon her, she found her savior. Now she can only pray for him to be victorious.

Actually, the singularity they spoke of had nothing to do with the mysteries of the world, only for Ray though. Ray knew the actual origin of the laws of this world. This world wasn't created naturally. But it was formed, forcefully accumulating the universal laws by a treasure which is unknown to the world even now. Ray just invoked the true origin power of this world and used its laws on his whim. In fact, that treasure was originally his, but after the battle he had lost it, but didn't think that it would form its own world by itself. It was a great discovery for Ray. Forcefully condensing and accumulating the universal law? Creating its own artificial world where real living beings could live? It was clearly an act of defying Heaven. Heavenly tribulation would descend, annihilating everything in an instant.

Despite being shaken inside, the Lotus Empress still maintained her calm expression on the surface. She called back her spear, it returned to her hand swiftly.

Ray didn't completely destroy her spear, he gave her a warning by just damaging it. After all, it was her spirit weapon. If destroyed she'd become a cripple. Both of them didn't have an irreconcilable feud, so Ray showed her mercy.

"Just who in the world are you?" She transmitted her voice, which directly reached Ray's head.

"Just a passerby, that's all. I'll give you another chance to attack. Use whatever trump card you have." Ray smiled at her.

"Alright, I have another attack if you can withstand it. I'll give this back to you." the Lotus Empress swore in a solemn tone.

With that said, she formed some kind of mudra with her both hands and chanted a profound mantra. An ice cube floated, it flew out from her heart. As soon as the ice-cube looking thing came out, the sun and moon lost their brilliance. The world turned cold and bleak. Ray squinted his eyes slightly, looking at the cube.

An icy glacier suddenly shrouded the whole world. Everyone could feel a deep bone-chilling coldness. All the powerhouses outside activated their protective treasures to save themselves and their youngsters. She controlled the power of the cube and pointed all of its focus on Ray. It directly suppressed Ray into the ground. She didn't stop there, she put a drop of her blood essence into the cube and chanted.|

"Goddess of ice and snow, I plead you to lend me your power." Her words evoked a terrifying glow from the cube, it turned into a crystal clear blue sword. Its might could penetrate the heaven. It was so terrifying that even a venerable could only gasp for breath infront of its might. It's power was beyond what this world can tolerate. Even above venerable realm. Torrents of thunder growled loudly in the sky as if wanting to annihilate the intruder completely because the power had exceeded the world's consent level. It struck down with an unmatched speed, directly aiming at the Ice and Snow Sword, but was stopped by a thin layer of ice in the middle. The huge ocean of thunder fiercely slammed into the thin ice layer. It seemed that the ice layer would break at any moment.

Despite being attacked by the fierce torrents of thunder, the ice layer stood strong as if showing its arrogance against the world.

Space started to shatter all around, huge black holes formed in the sky. People felt as if the end of the world was coming, they prayed silently in their hearts waiting for this nightmare to end.

Lotus Empress held the Blue sword respectfully with both hands, and pointed towards the mountain formed by ice and snow where Ray was suppressed beneath.

Ray's figure was buried under the mountains of snow and ice, he couldn't move at all. No lifeform could survive under this extreme coldness. A huge maelstrom rotated around the ice and snow mountains.

It was suppressing him with heaven-shaking might. If things go on like this, then there would be no need for Lotus Empress to use that Blue Sword as he will die from this extreme coldness.

When the Blue sword appeared, in the higher world, a few ancient being woke up from their slumber. They gazed at the coordinate where the seventh world was. At their level, time and space didn't matter to them. But still the world barrier obstructed them from directly viewing what's happening inside the seventh world.

"Looks like someone found that legendary inheritance."

"Go, capture anyone who ascends with a sword inheritance." A deep voice sounded from an ancient coffin.

"Yes, ancestor, your disciple obey."
