Brendon I’m sitting at my desk trying to focus, but my mind keeps drifting off to my mate. We had another argument this morning. I don’t even know what I said to set her off, but I notice she has been standoffish since she had lunch with her mom. I know Clara has been nothing but supportive so I chalk up the attitude to just being the nerves getting to her. A lot has changed for her life in a few short weeks. So I understand her short fuse. It’s a lot to take in.  When I think about it, Alphas and even Betas are trained from pups in their role. Our mates are just thrown into our lives and expected to comply. Two months is a short time to get to know your mate and decide if you want to run a pack together. Even Stephen had a year to prepare. I wish I could give my mate more time. “Hey.”
