Summer
After Amelia was taken care of Stephen and I walked towards the clinic. I felt fine and enough time had gone by that I would heal if I had any issues, but Stephen was not hearing it. He wanted me checked out by the doc. I rolled my eyes hard in protest, but decided to go along with it anyway.
We had just made it to the door when someone calls out to Stephen from behind us. We turn around to see Omar and Valorie, Stephen’s parents running up to us. Valorie makes it to us and all but falls into my arms wrapping hers around my neck in a tight squeeze. I move my eyes wide with shock between Omar and Stephen before patting her on the back awkwardly.
