Stoic looks scary

but in reality, it's a wall to protect itself.

Looking at the rotating fan, the beating in my head is making me breathe hard as I fist my palms.

Calm down, Calm down, Calm down.

Chocolate milk might help to chase the beating away.

Opening my temporary side drawer, I took out a bunch of chocolates I brought from America.

Bulter's white chocolate with raspberry crip will go well with milk. I take two bars of chocolate packets and keep the other inside the drawers.

After I changed my clothes, I went outside the room with the chocolate packets.

Luckily, 3Ps and Ansh were at the table. As I walked near them, 3Ps stood up and was able to go to the kitchen when I stopped him.

" 3Ps, make chocolate milk for me using this," I handed the chocolate packets and he had a funny expression saying,

" Did you just give me a nickname?" He raises one of his eyebrows.

How can he do that?

" Yes... go and make me chocolate milk," I growled in the end which made him take the chocolates from my hands then went to the kitchen.

As I sit on the dining chair, I start to stroll on t****k. The sound of loud throat clearing comes from Ansh followed by stammering noises.

" Did you sleep well?" He asked.

" No," I said rolling my eyes. It took him that long to ask me that.

" Because you are a scary person," Eve barked increasing the volume of the beating in my head. I placed my phone on the table and noticed Ansh was having his breakfast fast.

Once he finished his breakfast, he jogged into the kitchen. Maybe, Eve is right.

" Ansh, taste this chocolate. It's so good," 3Ps whispered yet I heard him.

" She will burn us alive once she finds out," Ansh whispered.

I won't do that.

" It tastes like heaven. It has to be expensive," Ansh whispered

" It is... Look at the price," 3Ps whispered.

I went to the bedroom, took the bunch of chocolates and selected Bulter's brand of chocolates. Then I kept the rest back in the drawer and went to the kitchen.

They looked at me in caution as I entered the kitchen. I glance at the small piece of chocolate in Ansh's hand.

" Sorry," He blurted out and 3Ps was about to say something but I spoke first.

" Sorry for what?" I asked looking at Ansh's eyes for one, two three.

" I had a bit of your chocolate," He answered bowing down.

" I gave him...," I interrupted 3Ps saying,

" I'm not a stingy person. Take these and share with each other," I stomped the packets of chocolates on the counter and went to sit on the dining chair.

Now, the beating of the head sends a pinning pain to my eyes. I message the side of my head as I close my eyes to calm the pain down.

" I want my chocolate fast," I barked loudly.

" Here is it," 3Ps said next to me making me bark and little jump on the chair.

I didn't sense him coming.

" Go," I barked to him. Before he went, he nodded with tight lips.

Ignoring him, I drink the white chocolate milk with raspberry crips. I purred as I leaned down.

Yummy in my tummy.

My phone rang and without looking at the screen, I answered.

" Hello," I answered.

" How are you?" Sister of Justice asked.

I blocked her number, right?

She is calling me through Amma's phone.

" Good, what do you want?" I muttered drinking my milk fast.

" Unblock me," She muttered.

" For that... don't ever call me at midnight," I demanded

" Done," She quickly responded. Weird.

After a while of silence, she showed her true colours.

" I made your appointment with Dr. Ali in the evening..., "

" He is a vampire so I'm not going," I said taking the last sip of the milk.

" Do it for Amma and Papa. Don't you love them...," I cut the call before fully hearing her.

Growling, I walked towards the entrance door.

" Nina, your breakfast?" 3Ps called out from behind.

I will buy my breakfast from the bakery.

The bakery counter had a long line. Because of the bubbling noises coming from my stomach, I stayed chanting my order.

One cheese croissant. One cheese croissant. One cheese croissant.

" One cheese croissant," I chanted out to the staff and gave a quick small smile. Then I acted to look at the menu list on the top screen.

" Do you need anything else, Ma'am?" He asked.

" No, " I answered looking at him for one, two, three then at the jars in front of me.

" Here you go, Maam," He handed me the bakery bag and I gave him my card... Technically, it's Papa's but he gave me so it's mine now.

Then I went to the car and quickly started to eat my cheese croissant. After I finish the cheese croissant which replaces the bubble in my stomach.

I looked outside the window and asked Rishab,

" Rishab, yesterday at the restaurant... were all those women the allies of Auruna Pack?"

" Yes, and today their packs will be raided at the same time... I already arranged for a team to question Miss Kaira for disrespecting you. When shall I permit them?" He asked making me smirk.

" Today," I answered. He is really dedicated to this mission.

" Rishab, yesterday there was a woman named Nandini. Find out how her relationship with Kaira is or Auruna Pack, " I ordered as I looked at the other side of the window.

" I will, Ma'am," He promised.

" As the procedure, I will get the report on the family by tonight, right?" I question.

" Yes... But I can arrange and give it by evening," Rishab replied.

I made your appointment with Dr. Ali in the evening

" Give me by evening," I ordered as beating in my heart and gut started.

Maybe the cheese croissant was a bad idea.

" You know well it's not from food," Even barked as my breathing got heavier.
