Chapter 15

Living together doesn't mean they are close. Or they trust each other. Nina I closed the file loudly when I finally got to know the connection between Ansh's Amma and his sperm donor. He r***d her because her Tande owed him money. The beating in my heart and guts welcomed themselves. Slowly they were making me breathe harder. I look at my temporary bedroom ceiling as I hold my breath. I could feel and hear the beating from my gut and heart. Then I hear ticking ... Clock. It's going to be evening. " I made your appointment with Dr. Ali in the evening," Sister of Justice mumbled. " I made your appointment with Dr. Ali in the evening," Sister of Justice spoke louder and I shut my eyes tight. " Go to the therapist," Amma and Papa chanted making me open my eyes. I took my phone from the table. I called the hospital, " Good evening," The familiar feminine voice greeted me. Naagin receptionist. " My name is Nina Singh... I wanted to confirm if my sister, Asha Singh appointed on behalf of me," I muttered and fisted my palm to feel the pain from my nail as I realised my wording. " Can you say the doctor's name, Ma'am?" She asked as typing noises came from the phone. Ignoring my poor sentence. " Dr. Ali Khan," I answered noticing my dull face. I need to cleanse my face after I come back from the hospital. " Yes, Ma'am, Your appointment is in an hour," She muttered. It will take an hour to get there. I change into a simple blue shirt and dark jeans. I walked outside to see Rishab talking on his phone. He looked at me and cut the call quickly. As I walked to him, "Ma'am, where do you want to go?" He asked. " Hospital... The one we went to last time," I muttered as the beating increased. Distract. Distract. Distract. The main female character has dark brown hair but she dyed it a red tone before the scandal. So currently, her long hair has red tone ends which she doesn't care about anymore. Should I make her a Hindu... or Punjabi? Or a Western? Western has a nice ring. Western it is. Should I make all my characters Western? " Nina Ma'am, we are here," Rishab's voice stopped my brainstorming and made me realise I had already reached the hospital. I stepped outside and looked at the most depressing aura to see a man crying quietly behind an older man who was sitting in a wheelchair. I walked inside quickly. That's one of the reasons I hate hospitals. " Hello, I have an appointment with Dr. Ali Khan," I spoke to the Naagin receptionist who definitely recognised my voice by the look of her eyes. " Yes, here is the slip, Ma'am," She handed out the paper which had my appointed number and the door number where Dr. Ali Khan. I didn't have this last time. I walked towards the line of doors and quickly found Dr. Ali Khan's room. This arrangement wasn't there last time. I handed out my paper to the nurse standing near the door. She looked at it for one, two. " You can go inside," She muttered irritated me that she didn't last for three. I walked inside the room filled with A/C's coolness. " Good evening, Miss Nina," He greeted me but I waited for the door to close. " Why are you hiding your true aura?" I questioned as I sat down in front of him. " Because of my professional ethics. I have more supernatural clients than humans. And I don't want my nature to create a barrier," He answered honestly. " Don't you think it's deceiving?" I asked looking at the frames which weren't present last time. " It's not deceiving when I give clear hints," He said looking at me as my body hair rose to make the bubble-like texture. I swallowed my growl. " How do they react?" I looked at his eyes wanting him to look away. " Some are okay while few never come back," He responded refusing to look away. " Take this book, Nina," He looked away to pull out a normal writing book from the drawer. " You can do anything with it. And explain to me how were you feeling before, during and after. It's your wish if you let me look at the book," He explained handing me the book. " How many times have you done this?" I asked shallowing my purr. I like books. " Only with introvert clients," He said. Then we stayed silent. He was waiting for me to speak while I tried to control my beatings which wasn't going away. " Eve," I called out but felt a wall. " How have you been dealing with the new change?" His voice pulled me out of my connection with Eve to back in present. " What?" I mumbled flipping the cover to see its blank pages. It's better to doodle on it. " After receiving your wolf spirit, how have you been handling the changes?" He asked. " My emotions become intense... But I distract myself more easily than before," I answered looking at the same paper stand and starting to rotate it. " What are you distracting yourself with?" He asked as he wrote on a notepad. " I have a vision... it's a story and through that I create everything," I answered looking at him one, two, three. " Can you explain further what is included in everything?" He question leaning back. " Storybook, drawing or painting... clothes design," I answered. Before he could ask something else, I questioned him, " Are you truly a Muslim?" " Yes, I am," He proudly answered " I thought Vampires don't have religions," I mumbled and as expected he explained. " It's true, most Vampires don't believe in gods. But there are few who choose a religion that their kind don't believe in," " What made you believe in Allah?" I asked again not giving him a chance to question. " Peace," He answered. " That's impossible," I blurted out. " Why do you think like that?" He question smirking in victory. " You can't escape from his questioning," Eve barked after removing the wall.
