Is it possible to change the future,
Or is it destiny that wants to change the future?
Nina
Amma is in the kitchen talking with 3Ps who didn't let her cook. That's good.
Pressing the call button, I look at the screen as it rings.
" Hello," She answered quickly.
" How does everyone die?" I question whispering, glancing at the kitchen entrance.
" What?" She questions instead, making me hold my neck.
" Tell me," I growled, looking at the mirror that reflected my glowing wolf eyes. I shut my eyes tight and open to see my normal human eyes staring back.
" Sameera Chachi was pushed down the stairs... the youngsters... they were attacked by the false hunters. That's all," Haniya stammered.
I changed that... I have to change it again.
" When will youngsters be attacked?" I asked, trying to remember if Haniya mentioned this before or not.
" In five months," Haniya answered and quickly continued to speak, not letting me talk.
" I am thinking of a way to convince Disha to transform the youngster into werewolves. They should be able to defend themselves,"
" Yasmin can do it," I suggested. The first idea came to me.
I have to save Amma and Papa first because I am responsible for them.
" Without the order of Disha or Asha or Roshini, Yasmin has no right to do that," Haniya objected.
" What can the worst happen after transforming the youngsters? Yasmin won't be facing any punishment other than being scolded," I pointed, looking at Ansh going into the kitchen.
He is the rightful Alpha.
" Do you know anything about Aruna Alpha from... you know, during your time," I asked, walking to the door frame to lean while looking at the kitchen entrance.
" The Alpha was trying to create chaos for Disha and Saraj. I never got into the details... I had a lot on my plate, sorry," Haniya muttered.
" It's okay, you are a married woman who is living in Canada. It's obvious it was hard for you... And you are the Royal Female Beta," I explained while I tried to listen to the conversation happening in the kitchen.
" Yeah... Just make sure the rightful heir gets the title. It will solve the problem," Haniya mumbled.
" How sure are you the rightful heir is the solution?" I asked, walking to the bed.
" When Aurna Alpha was creating problems. There were rumours that the rightful heir won't do that," Haniya answered as I jumped on the bed.
" Haniya, I understand the butterfly effect, but you have to tell me whatever you know about Aruna Pack," I explained, looking at the stilled fan.
" Nina, tell me what happened?" Haniya barking question.
" I had a vision of an Aruna pack member killing... Amma and Papa," I answered, swallowing the thickness in my throat.
" What? That never happened," Haniya shouted, making me flinched.
"Is the future really unstable?" She whined.
" Haniya, Destiny is real. Sometimes, it's destiny to want the future to be changed so it shows a vision to me or it made you travel back in time," I shared my thoughts standing straight up.
" So it maybe wants us to protect our family members no matter what happens," Haniya spoke in a low voice.
" Yeah, think about my suggestion," I said, hearing Amma calling me.
" I have to go, bye," I mumbled quickly.
" Bye," Haniya responded, letting me cut the call.
I walked out of the bedroom to find Amma, Ansh, and 3Ps arranging the table. I sat down, waiting for Amma to sit next to me. Which she does while Ansh sits in front of me.
He gave a weak smile and glanced at 3Ps, who was speaking,
" Nina, Aunty instructed me as I cooked your favourite meal, biryani. I hope that today I might get a good compliment, "
Amma serves the biryani giving me two leg pieces. She whispers to me in Tamil,
" Tell something nice,"
I had a first bite while being looked at by three people.
" It's good," I mumbled, eating my biryani ignoring and looking at Amma's disappointed eyes.
She placed her hand on my shoulders as Amma spoke, giggling,
" She is just like her Papa, Mohan. He would only comment, 'it's good' on food. This was inherited by Luv and Nina, which irritated Asha. She would scold the three of them for the lack of compliment,"
" Aunty, from what you said about Nina. She has got her personality from Uncle and looks from you," Ansh commented with a confident smile.
He looks a bit healthy from the first time I met him.
" That's true," Amma said as she took her first bite.
" Enough about me... Both of you tell something about yourself or your family," I blurted out as my legs started to shake.
" You have lost your mind," Eve barked as I noticed the uncomfortable aura between the two of them.
" Well, I have three sisters who made sure I don't turn out to be a goon," 3Ps joked.
" What about your parents?" Amma inquired as she placed her hand on my leg, making it stop.
It stopped shaking.
" I don't remember much, but Didi said they left without saying anything," 3Ps answered with a tiny bit of sadness, but it was quickly concealed.
" How sure are you that they left you?" I blurted out.
Why am I blurting things out?
I filled my mouth with biryani and kept looking at my plate. As I listen to 3Ps answering,
" They could have come back, but they didn't,"
I filled my mouth again before I took his so-called Didi's name. Amma talked with Ansh and 3Ps while I kept on filling my mouth so I didn't word vomit.
Food vomit is better than word vomit.
As soon as I finished eating, I walked to the kitchen while listening to their conversation.
