I stare at the boy who is my son. He’s beautiful, though he looks much like the men of this pack. He has long hair and wears the same type of wild clothing. I don’t know what Nathan looked like before the Blood Bonding Ceremony, but I can see Rafe in his eyes.
I have so many regrets where this little boy is concerned. I had no idea Elora was pregnant on the day of our rejection. I would never have stayed away so long if I had known. I realize now when Eloa mentioned pregnancy all those years ago, she was trying to tell me about the baby. I have no doubt she hid the pregnancy from me until she sounded me out. I laughed off the idea of us having a child. I was so eager to get back to Jayden so we could sort things out that I never thought anything of what Elora said.
