Axel fumed all over his house. He had slept in and whilst doing so, Maia had left. He did recall her waking him up once, but after that everything was an absolute blur. She hadn't even left a note, or sent him a text the entire morning. When the afternoon came and no notifications from her showed on his phone, he grew irritated. Worry flooded him and almost drowned him completely. She should be over with class, she should be already home. So why hasn't she called? Without further ado, deciding that it was better to take the matters into his own hands, Axel dialed her number, his nerves on the verge of snapping any second. One beep, two beeps. When it reached the fifth he was almost sure that she wouldn't pick up. The click from the other side sent his muscles jerking into restart. H
