Maia felt blank. She smelled like a trashcan, piss and sweat mixed together in the worst possible aroma you could imagine. Not even a dead body could match her smell aesthetic. Her cheek was bruised, her head received a huge bump once the hours had passed by and she swore that her ribs had taken much more of a beating than how the bruises actually appeared to be. She and Sky had managed to get to the raven girl's apartment. While Maia was dying of shame, cold as f**k and sure that she would be getting sick if she didn't get out of her wet clothes, the two had managed to catch the first buses they needed to take and make it there in record time. Neither spoke a word. Maia didn't know what to think. Her mind was empty, just like the whole feeling in her body. There was a huge emptiness
