Freya and Jacob have been married for three years - since his fiancee, her best friend Betsy (Heiress to the Beaumont Estate) disappeared into the Scottish Mist. On their anniversary Freya is sat waiting for Jacob, excited to tell him the news of her pregnancy -they are having twins! But a few weeks before, Freya discovered Jacob's secret - Betsy was back. As she sits in the dark the door opens and in waltzes Jacob with Betsy in tow. They are back together and she is moving back in - which means Freya is moving out. With nothing but a binbag of minimal belongings and the locket she was found with as a child, Freya walks the streets of London in the rain, pregnant without so much as a coat in November. She heads for a coffee shop, almost being killed by a taxi driver on her way there, to use the free wifi. As she walks into the coffee shop she crashes into a wall of solid muscle.
Enter Trevor Stone - single father of three girls, CEO of Stone Global and Jacob's boss. He recognises Freya as his employee's wife and invites her to have a coffee - he'd been meaning to track her down anyway. Freya can't understand why, until he shows her the video....
Trevor wants to ruin his ex wife and Jacob. He wants Freya to help him do it. How? Move in and be his Nanny - help him out with the girls and get a roof over her and her babies heads. The only stipulation? As far as anyone else is aware they are in a relationship and those twins are his. She will be mother to his children - he can live without love but the girls? They need someone who will not abandon them like their mother did.
How could Freya say no? As an orphan with no family and no where to go her only option is to accept. Maybe this could be the family she has been so desperate for.
Together, will they take their revenge and discover who people really are? Will they fall in love along the way and and make a home and a family together? Maybe, but in the mean time there are plenty of shocking twists and turns along the way that will leave you wondering what is coming next.
