Kail collided with the other dragon as he transformed. He watched as the other dragon fell beside him but didn’t transform. The dragon was completely immobile as he plunged to what would be his death. The reaction to Kail’s charge must have been part of Ocelot’s plan. The glow enveloped Kail as they fell toward the rocky waters below. His wings wrapped around his body and he plummeted faster than Emma fell. He would catch her, but only just.
