Years later, they met in another country and the man, red-eyed, cornered Doreen, his voice mute: "Doreen, how could you run away with my child? Hmm? Who gave you the nerve?"

Doreen looked at the shrunken version of the man and felt a pang of weakness in her heart.

Boyfriend cheating
"Boss, how do you sell this vegetable?"  A young girl asked in the middle of the noisy vegetable market where people were coming and going.  Her name is Doreen Sidri, she is 22 years old and has just graduated from university. She currently lives with her boyfriend in a very small rented house. It was a cold winter day in London and it was freezing her hands off. She touched the few pounds she had in her pocket and Doreen sighed. She and her boyfriend had just graduated from university and had not yet found a steady job. Prices in London were very high and a casual meal out could cost £40 or £50. Seeing her pity, the owner sold her the vegetarian dishes at a low price. Doreen walked home happily with the vegetables in her hand. Luckily, she would be able to eat her favourite dish tonight. When she arrived at the door of her rented house, Doreen saw an unfamiliar pair of shoes on the doorstep, a pair of beautiful crystal high heels. It was laid out with her boyfriend's shoes.  She was a little confused, had her boyfriend come home early today?  When she opened the door, the living room was filled with a strong perfume scent that was pungent.  She touched her nose in discomfort and was about to go into the kitchen to do the dishes.  Then a suppressed gasp could be heard from her room.  "Gaius, Gaius, do you like me? Am I much better than that girlfriend of yours?" "Love it, love it, love Erin the most." Then came the sound of a woman's panting voice higher than the next. Doreen Siddeley stood in her bedroom doorway, her hands and feet cold. She reached out with a trembling hand and pushed the bedroom open with a jerk. The movement at the door startled the two men in the room who were doing their warm-up exercises. "Ahhh ----" The woman let out a violent scream and pulled her own covers up over her body. The boyfriend looked at Doreen sheepishly, not daring to look up at her, "You, what are you doing back here?" Doreen looked at the man she had loved for five years in front of her with a pang of grief. She had been lovers with him since high school, the two had gone to the same university together, and now that they had graduated from university, they were about to get married, about to become a family, and now this!!! Doreen couldn't suppress the anger in her heart and the last vestiges of her sanity crumbled. Picking up the crystal glass by the table, she threw it at them. It smashed into the wall and the shards stabbed her boyfriend's hand. Furious, Gail shouted, "Doreen, what are you mad about?" Doreen looked at the handsome man and she felt as if she were a joke. Her boyfriend was stingy and didn't have much money; the two had been together for several years and she hadn't spent much of his money, whether it was for meals or lodging, she had always practiced AA. She couldn't spare any expensive bottle of cosmetics for his sake. She bought him the latest mobile phone for his birthday every year, no matter how poor he was. She gave up the advances of many good seniors in the university for him. Now, he had the audacity to cheat on her in her bed, cheating on the same schoolmate she had once rejected. Doreen held her head high, the corners of her mouth curled into a sarcastic smile: "Gail, are your tastes so unpicky now? What kind of cats and dogs are brought to your door that you can eat in your stomach?" The woman on the bed, whose name was Lorraine, was immediately upset at this comment, and she burst out of bed in a huff, looking down at Doreen with condescension. The silk nightgown she was wearing seemed to burn Doreen's heart. "Doreen, what do you think you are? Do you really think Gail would look at someone like you?"  "He's just having fun with you!" Doreen looked at Gail incredulously. Gail rubbed his nose sheepishly, but thinking of his future, he couldn't afford to live in this shabby rented house with this poor girlfriend. So he straightened up: "Doreen, let's break up! After all these years, let's call it a day, you're not right for me, I'm not right for you. We're just not cut out for marriage!" Doreen walked up and slapped Gail hard, she felt no relief and immediately slapped him again as soon as he looked up. "Fine, isn't it just a break up? I'll make it up to you, now you move out of this house immediately and at once!" The woman laughed heartily at the word "break up" and she smiled as she took Gail's hand, "Gail, hurry up and move, move to my big villa area and never live in this shabby rental house again!"  Gail had wanted to break up with Doreen peacefully, after all, it wasn't all gone at once, but two slaps brought out the anger in him. He was at least a big man, how could he allow the humiliation of others?  So without saying a word, he and Lorraine both began to get dressed. They began to pack their things. Lorraine called for two tall men, who were wearing black suits and looked very badass. The four men were fast and in less than an hour, Gail was dragging a suitcase. He turned back to Doreen and looked at her almost in a teasing way. "Doreen, I forgot to tell you, being with you in the first place was just a bet!" That one sentence completely sent Doreen into hell.
