Arsenio was also worried about this situation, especially before they accidentally met when he was about to buy a drink. He hoped what he was thinking was wrong, he hoped Arlyne didn't follow him to start a new drama. However, seeing her face which was slowly changing from shock to happiness with sparkling blue eyes, he had a bad feeling.
"I knew it~!" Arlyne said a little loudly, "I knew the reason you came back beside your parents was because of Sofia~!"
"Eh?" Sofia herself was surprised to hear Arlyne's loud statement, "Me?"
Arsenio was just silent, waiting, if the situation started to look strange, he would act.
"Of course~!" Arlyne approached them to hold their hands tightly, "I'm sure Arsenio Grace is your fiancé that you've been keeping secret all this time, isn't it~?"
"Arsenio ...?" Sofia did say she has a secret fiancé due to rumors about her and Dominic when one of the employees at her restaurant caught Dominic out of her apartment, because of that, she was forced to give a little information about her love life because Arlyne herself had asked her directly.
But Arsenio ...? Arsenio is her secret fiancé?
Just imagining it sent chills down Sofia's spine.
Arlyne nodded enthusiastically, "Obviously~! Why did you say you didn't want to be bothered, but actually you're on a date with Sofia~?"
"Arlyne, with all due respect, I think—" Unfortunately, Sofia couldn't finish her protest, her words were cut off by Arlyne.
"You're already engaged, why don't you just get married~?" Arlyne gave an idea that made Sofia and Arsenio's faces pale, "we're in Las Vegas too! You can get married right away~!"
"Arlyne, you never change. Don't meddle in other people's business," Arsenio commented, alluding to an idea he thought was insane.
"I just wanted to help you guys as friends," Arlyne replied casually, "I was initially skeptical about what Sofia said about her secret fiancé, but after seeing it with my own eyes, I believe the rumors are fake."
Sofia just stared intensely. Turns out it was true that Arlyne didn't believe her fiancé's excuse because after they 'talked' from heart to heart, Dominic never visited her again because Arlyne spent more time at home.
"So? If you want to get married today, I will help you~!" Arlyne again said what she was thinking, "I'm sure Dominic will too~"

Sofia suddenly remembered what she had come to Las Vegas for, "No, Arlyne—"
"What about me, babe?"
Sofia's body froze at the sound of a quiet hoarse voice caught in her ear. She couldn't turn her head to look at him. She was afraid.
Why did he have to come in such an inappropriate situation?
"Sofia?" Dominic was surprised to see her here, moreover, there was Arsenio beside her. Her eyes immediately became sharp as he saw the man who had recently snatched his dream, "Oh, you're here too, huh?"
Arsenio rolled his eyes, "You know I'm a distant cousin of Arlyne and Arkyn."
Dominic wanted to say something to get rid of the smug look on Arsenio's face, his emotions weren't stable because he couldn't accept the fact that he wasn't the one who got the promotion, but was restrained by Arlyne by gently stroking his chest.
"Come on, there's much more important news besides Arkyn's wedding~" said Arlyne cheerfully.
"There are more?" Dominic asked confused.
Arlyne's sky blue eyes returned to Sofia and Arsenio, looking at them in turn happily, "They're both engaged and getting married here~!"
"What!?" Like being struck by lightning, Dominic's body froze on the spot, his eyes wide in shock at what he just heard.
"Yes~!" Arlyne confirmed her words once again, "if they want to get married here, I'll help~!"
Dominic's body slowly relaxes it turns out that there is another explanation of Sofia's 'marriage', and talking about her ... He glanced his eyes at the woman he proposed to not long ago to see her reaction, "is it true?" he asked, his voice weak, almost a whisper.
Sofia looked away reflexively, unable to meet Dominic's demanding, but hurt eyes, "I—"
"Even if it's true that we got married tonight, how would that affect you, Dominic?" Arsenio interrupted in a tone of marked displeasure.
"Somebody's cocky tonight," Dominic replied no less sharply.
Arsenio had a slight smirk at the corner of his lips. It was easy to get Dominic's temper, because Sofia was here, he decided to play a little, "What? Why being so defensive? There's no way the gossip is true? A gentleman doesn't play with two women at once."
Sofia gasped covering her mouth, shocked to hear Arsenio's strong insinuation about her love life. She wanted to end this conversation before things got hotter, and her secret was exposed, but deep down, she was feeling a little happy? She herself did not understand, maybe because the only one who knew her complicated relationship was him.
"Those words suit you," Dominic replied calmly with flushed cheeks with anger because Arsenio had dared to mention his private life in front of Arlyne who was starting to suspect him, "And again ..." He glanced at Sofia who was silent, can't believe she didn't say anything or do anything to keep Arsenio's mouth shut. His heart ached she wasn't on his side, "I'm not interested in a boring woman like her. Cheap gossip." He gave a cold confession, even rolling his eyes.
Sofia was at a loss for words. Hearing insults for the first time out of the mouth of the man she loved, scratched her heart so deep that she couldn't think, moved for a while. She couldn't understand what was happening.

On the other hand, Arsenio was also furious to hear Dominic's insults. "You knew I was going to Arkyn's wedding, right?" Arsenio asked back.
Then Sofia returned to New York alone, facing a lot of questions from their parents alone?
