sofia was relieved to have the phone picked up, that meant she wasn't so mad at him anymore, "dominic, we need to talk, just the two of us."

dominic agrees to meet to talk on the condition that sofia goes to the company she works for on the pretext of being busy not allowing her to go to a restaurant.

it turns out that dominic's words are true that alyne is out of town.
sofia goes inside, rushes to the elevator to get a place because now it's break time for the office to have a lot of people waiting in line. killing time, his eyes swept across the large, classic white-grey lobby.

sofia's eyes accidentally caught arsenio who was with several people dressed the same as he was heading towards her...!

sofia couldn't hide herself, if she left she would have to queue again, it would be a waste of time. with no choice, he turned his gaze the other way in hopes that he wouldn't notice.

"ms, do you want to come in or not?" one of the security asked.
sofia realized, immediately rushed into the elevator before her place was taken. he told me which floor he was going to, then waited anxiously.

but arsenio seemed so busy with his work that he didn't greet him earlier.

'dominic loves me, there's no way he's going to be rude to me again.'
sofia can only hope.
"please, ms."
"thank you," sofia said softly before stepping out of the elevator, she only took three steps, her eyes caught dominic standing against the white wall not far from the elevator, "i thought you would be waiting in the room."
dominic didn't answer but said quietly, expressionlessly, "come with me."
sofia followed behind.
'of course he's still angry...'
dominic opened his study door, let him in first, then locked it so no one would interrupt their conversation, "talk."
sofia put the plastic filled with food on her table first, "you don't want to eat first? at least calm yourself down?" he refuses to tell her the problem if he acts cold like that.
dominic rolled his eyes "i'll decide after you confess whether you open your legs to him or not."
"i'm not that kind of woman!" sofia snapped angrily, not expecting to be considered so lowly by him, "i admit that i was wrong for what happened, but aren't you just as guilty as me!?"
"don't play victim card here. you imagine if i sigh arlyne's name when you give me a bl*wjob. will you accept it well!?" dominic reversed his question. he doesn't understand why she is blaming him, it's only natural that he is angry because she loves him.
"trust me, i've been through worse than that," sofia defended herself sharply, "you know very well during our five years together how i poured my heart out to you about why we've been in a relationship secretly."
"here we go again." dominic was getting tired of his one wish, "you know i'm doing this for our future too. how many times do i have to tell you? and don't change the subject. are you playing with arsenio behind my back or not!?"
sofia clenched her fists to hold back her emotions, "before i answer that, have you ever played behind my back?" he asked sharply.
arsenio said the eva incident happened after he and dominic officially became lovers.
he wanted to see if it was true.
"arlyne? you know very well how our relationship is," dominic answered a little confused too with his question.
sofia rolled her eyes, "is there anything else?"
dominic notices him first, this is new to him he presses him about the possibility of another woman.

"arsenio must have said something to you, huh?" dominic mumbles "let me give you some advice. never believe what he says. i already told you that. he obviously wants to destroy our relationship because he loves you! and it's common knowledge he hates me, wants me to suffer."
sofia is deep in thought.
what dominic said was exactly what he thought.
and it's true that arsenio and dominic hate each other.
"look, babe." dominic came over to caress her chin "i did all this for you, for us. never once did i not think of you. how could i cheat on you."

"you're the best woman that ever walked into my life. remember?" dominic caresses her cheek in a seductive voice.
