The Decision

Arsenio laughed disdainfully, "i'm a traitor? we agreed two years ago about sofia, and now you're still hiding a secret from her! this way, i'm free to do what i want, 'buddy'!" dominic was taken aback for a moment. their deal...? he thought it was just bullshit because they were both under the influence of alcohol, was arsenio serious!? and said in front of sofia too! "f*ck you!" he lost control, pushed sofia who was in his way, then launched a hard punch, this time it worked because arsenio's concentration was broken as sofia fell to the ground. arsenio stopped dominic's third punch, and countered with a kick to the stomach, then to the jaw until there was blood coming out of the corner of dominic's lips just like that. "stop! please!" sofia screamed desperately, "i'm going to call the police if you keep on like this!" unfortunately, neither arsenio nor dominic is backing down. dominic said, then threw a punch at arsenio, which he unfortunately parried. arsenio laughed disdainfully, "i'm a traitor? we agreed two years ago about sofia, and now you're still hiding a secret from her! this way, i'm free to do what i want, 'buddy'!" "please stop them, i beg someone!" sofia asked the people who were just watching without any intention of separating, "please!" despite his pleas, no one was brave enough to separate him, until the police arrived and arrested arsenio and dominic. sofia is very grateful that there is a policeman on duty at night patrol. *** after almost two hours of being interrogated by the police to explain what happened, sofia was allowed to go home with arsenio too, while dominic went home alone. sofia didn't talk at all while in the car. he has mixed feelings, he wants to give him some advice, but is afraid there's also how much he knows about what happened to him and dominic. thankfully, arsenio had no intention of chatting, as if he understood the situation. the silence between them helped sofia stay focused on driving her car all the way to the penthouse. while in the elevator there was silence between them. sofia just remembered that her mother still lives with her. 'how do i explain this to mom?' it would be strange if the trigger for arsenio and dominic's fight was him. "wait." sofia grabbed his hand to stop him "what should we tell my mom about your injuries?" "simple. i got into a fight with some douch*bag who intended to touch you." arsenio answered with a sharp look. makes sense too. sofia let go of his hand, arsenio continued his footsteps to the penthouse. "oh my god!" mia gasped in shock as soon as she opened the door, arsenio's face looked swollen, "what happened to you, arsenio!?" "some douch*bag wanted to touch sofia, and this is the result," arsenio explained in a hateful tone. "you don't have to go that far, arsenio." mia understands she has great concern for her daughter, but fighting won't solve the problem. "everything just happened." arsenio thought dominic just wanted to argue with him, who would have thought that his 'friend' just hit him, "sofia has treated me too, you better sleep mia, it's one o'clock at night. i'll tell you tomorrow if you're still curious about my heroic actions. " sofia rolled her eyes. heroic hey say? he wouldn't need to be so twisted if he followed his orders to hide until he got to the park! "i understand you need to rest," mia said, "i was waiting for you to tell me that i was coming back home." "oh?" sofia was curious about her mother's sudden decision, "is dad here yet?" he was sure his father had something to do with this. "yes, after you guys left, oliver came here," mia mumbled looking at her daughter's face, "don't tell me you called your dad?" sofia scratched her blushing cheeks. ops... got caught. but sofia doesn't regret it. he got his freedom again~! "arsenic?" mia called softly. "yes?" "i begging you to take care my daughter with nothing but love and patience," mia makes a serious confession. "you have my words, mia," arsenio promised with a gentle smile, "there's nothing i didn't cherish." "i'm serious here, arsenio," mia was not satisfied with the answer she got, "sofia is our only child." "i swear with all my heart i will love and protect her, mia," arsenio said seriously, "i thank you for giving me the chance to love sofia. you may not know, but she has a big influence on my life so that i can become a more good." sofia was amazed to hear his words that sounded sincere. he is sure he prepared it in advance so his acting is natural, he can't tell the difference. "i hope you keep your word, arsenio," mia said, "sofia, you too. sometimes being too stubborn. giving in is sometimes good for your domestic relationship." "i see, mom," sofia said, "then during the night. i'm sure you're sleepy, mom." "good night too, sofia, arsenio." "night," arsenio said simply, then grabbed sofia's waist, leading her into the bedroom. as soon as the bedroom door closed, he trapped her between his hands and the wall, "is there something you want to tell me?" sofia remain calm. 'he's trying to get information from you. don't give it, sofia harrington.' "nothing. what did he tell you?" sofia threw the question back at him. he was able to hold on this time, in contrast to his heart that beat fast as he lied. "dominic's punches are hard enough, but what comes out of his mouth is much more interesting..." arsenio said almost in a whisper, "should i continue?" sofia turned her gaze to her side unable to stay in the confinement of her intense brown irises. 'interesting? what is interesting?' there's no way dominic actually said about he sighing the name arsenio? "about love bites?" sofia guessed hesitantly. arsenio snorted angrily. of course he would dodge to the end, "sometimes i wonder why i have feelings for women who can't tell the truth." "you say i'm a liar?" sofia concluded from her words. "isn't that right? i gave you a clue, but you act as if you don't know that you moan my name while having fun with dominic." sofia covered her gaping mouth. oh, no... dominic really said it. "with that too, my decision is clear," arsenio continued with his eyes closed recalling the memories he had forgotten in the past. sofia didn't say anything, waiting for the meaning of the decision she was talking about. "i won't give up again, sofia."
