"I don't get it... were all out but, there is not a single people around..?"

Paul was embarrassed to say this words to Nyx as he was so harsh earlier to him but unexpectedly things turned out this way and even saved his dear friend Ayesha, Paul couldn't help but feel embarrassed and out of place for saying those mean things to Nyx.

"Oh... hahaha your right if I didn't inherited a gods memories then, you'll be still stuck in the orphanage, so your welcome dear Paul"

Nyx teased Paul a little and the children that followed them chuckled while the boys was checky and teased Paul who was older than them.

"you damn checky brats..! hey you Keifer I noticed lately... you've become much more checky eh..!"

"That's because you stink!! Bleeh"

"Yeah you stink..!"

"Hey... not you too Dominic... well if that's how you'll play then I won't share my food to you when we arrive at the feast!"

"Eh... but, sister Maria said to share it to all of us..."

"Hmph! Paul is just a meanie, let's go to big brother Nyx he is much better than this stinky meanie!"

"W-what hey... Natalie, that's kinda harsh actually..."

Nyx couldn't help but laugh at them arguing but still have the real bond of friendship, Nyx couldn't help but sigh.

"Sigh... what a beautiful bond you guys have"

"Hey Nyx... you promise to help us right..? I know what I'm saying might be rude but-"

"What a big bonfire! is-is that even safe..?"

"Yeah it might be dangerous to come closer..."

The girls couldn't help but be scared, because it was there first time seeing such a huge bonfire even Nyx was a little worried but... he saw his father laughing together with the adults that was gathered in the village center without worry, so Nyx wasn't also worried to see this kind of sight, the huge fire was blazing as if it was alive and is ready to swallow the soul of the mortals it was unexpectedly pretty hot even Nyx felt it in their distance so Nyx was curious if this fire was actually a normal fire or was it a fire that used some sort of magic.

"Hey Paul, do you know what kind of fire that is..?"

"Uh... it should be the ember flame wood that only grows in a swampy area in the forest near Grannar Village... it should be used because it not only retains the meat's juices but it can also cook it at a very fast pace that's why it's so hot and some says, that the ember flame wood are actually alive and the flame it produces are it's blazing soul that can only burn living beings but not other types of wood, and some says it was because the wood itself resent the living beings for making it grow in a swampy area and polluted the once beautiful scenery the forest once had. But it was said that a demon did that in purpose to guard something... and sometimes the whole swamp lit up in fire at some point in the month"

"Huh... quite mysterious..."

"I know right..? hahaha, but that was just a legend and a wood is still a wood in the end no matter if it can't burn another types of wood"

Could it be..? a wood that only burns the living, and as if it's flame is it's soul, is it a spirit wood..? hmmm... that's a treasure even in the ten thousand immortal worlds, it can be used to create spirit pills or ingredients in making weapons, this type of wood can be use as a fuel and temper the materials to make a weapon and even maybe if one has enough understanding and a proper technique then it's not quite hard to create a weapon with sentience and maybe even have an innate ability!

"Well were here, I should introduce you all to my father first and Paul, keep what you saw a secret all right..? we'll tell my parents that secret when the right time comes"

"O-okay... hey you heard those brats! don't tell them what happened earlier..! or it might affect you elder sister Ayesha, do you want that to happen..?"

Nyx and Paul and the rest of the group were coming closer the street was made out of stone the road were old stone bricks and light the bonfire gave of made the street shine in a seemingly sea of flame.

Terran saw Nyx coming from not that far away and was relieved that nothing really happened to him like what Zira said, while Zira was preparing and distributing the meat to the villagers.

"Well... look who it is, I thought you were scared and ran away, but turns out you were finding friends in the middle of a battle..."

"Hahaha, kids this days are really brave"

"If I say so, they are smartasses!"
