Chapter 34: Pharmacy

After all that happened Lisa did really win the fight, with a little bit of her cute charm and a little bit of crying it only took a couple of seconds to fully concoct a perfect affection for each other, as to what the three girls discussed after they got to an agreement.

"Hahh... what time is it now Paul..?" I didn't notice that I was still gone from were we were initially was and my mom might be looking at me everywhere right now.

"Hmm... I don't know but I think it's still early in the morning though..?" I didn't know but this world clock doesn't exist, they only describe it based on what it is, early in the morning, noon, afternoon, sunset, night and midnight they don't have clocks yet but they can use stars and the sun like back on earth to be a compass or be the clock that they wanted.

"Huh... I guess I'll go back later then, Paul come're when you see my mom or my father later just tell them that I was wandering around and was playing with you... alright?" I tried to make an excuse with Paul so that my mom would not scold me if anything but that.

"O-okay... but first, who was that beast man you took here with you? sister Maria said you too were lying in front of the door... don't tell me you did naughty things-?!" I almost let this dumb guy spit some nonsense with three in the room at that, that was already fighting a moment ago

So I covered up Paul's mouth and remembered that I really did kidnap a Demi human, and it seem here they are called beast man and I should probably go with that name, now I should probably take of the chains that is sealing her.

"Wait... maybe she'll be dangerous, and I can't just jump and suddenly kick a girl just because she is on edge and is on guard with us around... oh yeah..." I mumbled to my self and looked at Ayesha and remembered she has a Draconic bloodline, it might help suppress a lesser bloodline beast.

"A... ahem, sister Maria can I see the beast girl I took here with me..? I-if that is okay with you..." I was quite hesitant on talking with this topic as I abruptly kidn*pped a poor beast man.

"Beast man..?"

"Oh yeah, Lisa and Ayesha didn't know it yet but this is initially the reason why I told you that legend that was passed down in this village, let's go and see her if she's alright now" I sighted and thanked sister Maria from the bottom of my heart, I really didn't know how to explain it to them if I say "oh yeah, so I kidn*pped a young girl... cool right?" I'm sure they would kill me.

A moment later Nyx and the group got out the room and left the small children in the room and didn't allow them to follow them, sister Maria didn't want them to see how cruel a human can be to a race that isn't the same with them in general.

"By the way Nyx, how poorly treated was that beast man child... no why is she chained from all her limbs..?" I saw sister Maria's face as we walked to a room farther than where we were earlier and hear tone go down and tremble, I can feel her sadness and hatred just from a sentence of her

She was very concerned for the beast man child even though they are not the same race, this show's how of a sister material sister Maria was.

"I... to be honest I don't know... I only took her with me because I happen to see her being imprisoned on a cabinet from a certain someone..." Yeah right, good lie me! You only took the child to give that demon tainted bastard lesson, but now I feel really bad for her that I think about it.

"You took her away..? then she must be bought by a merchant?! No maybe even... Baron Swine Von Ludwick..." I saw sister Maria's body shaking as she stopped walking and finally I now know what Paul told me the first time I meet him, "Bastards like you only treat us as pigs and only buy us for their own amazement".

"Sister... I'll help her don't worry"

"Yeah... I know you will Nyx, your personality is good and you are also a very good person at that"

Only I and sister Maria talked to each other and Paul was walking beside me but the moment he heard the Baron's name his posture instantly change same with Lisa and Ayesha, Paul was angry while Ayesha was hesitant, and Lisa looked like an animal ready to be a pet

This kids, their will is too weak to defy the rich. If they were in the past then only Paul can success greatly while this two would depend on someone till they die.

"Hey... what about I open a*****e that is dedicated to healing people... and we will charge 1 silver coin for healing lost limbs and any serious injuries while the minor ones can be charged with 1 bronze coin no matter as long as it's not a lost limb? How does this sound to the four of you..?" I decided to make the atmosphere a little bit bitter and made them think that helping people would be nice and also gaining money while doing it.

"But Nyx... 1 silver coin would be too much..."

"Haiz... Lisa your too much of a naive kid, healing a person isn't easy and what more a missing limb? It's a fair trade if you think about it no..? and also 1 bronze coin is a steal for people who have an i jury below the missing limbs!! isn't that a genius idea??! Nyx how smart of you! As expected of a son of the great mage Terran!"

"Urghh... Paul your just about the money... but still your right, 1 bronze for any injury as long as it isn't a missing limb? then many people can use that, how about the missing eyes, missing ears and all those important body parts..? I think Nyx is being fair to be honest... what do you think sister Lisa..?"

"Mmn... Ayesha and Paul is right Lisa, normal you have to go to a church in order to heal you missing body parts but healing magic can bring back limbs such as Nyx's healing magic, and... normal if you wish for a healthy body you'll need to pay at least 3-5 gold coins in the church as for healing injuries they would range from 1 small gold coin to 5 big gold coin depending on the injury one has..."

"Hmmm... now that I heard sister Maria explain the proper procedure... I can't help but think I should raise it to one gold coin each limbs!" I tried to fool Ayesha and Lisa to think I would do this and made them think it was a good idea for people to only pay 1 silver coin compared to one gold coin, and regenerating bones should be pretty hard I don't even know if it'll work.

"No! Nyx you can't do that..!" I smiled slyly and thought, these two were caught up in my trap, now finally they would consent me to extort the people of their precious money just from healing simple injuries..! wahahaha.

As the door creak Nyx saw once again a familiar Demi human, it was indeed the beast man he rescued the chains tied it's limbs and sealed it's mana and in a state of hibernating a force hibernation at that.

"This is really horrible... I didn't saw it clearly earlier but this chains are not cuffed to her but instead was driven to her flesh chaining her limbs... her arms and even her two feets, how horrible was that guy..." I can't help but be saddened by the current situation of the beast man, I looked away as I clenched my fist.

"S-sister Maria... is she alright..?"

"I don't know Lisa... but, I think Nyx can help her... right Nyx..?"

"..."

"Nyx? hey are you thinking sister Maria Nyx..? why are you spacing out..?"

"W-what..? wait what..? haha no I was just thinking that... that it was a good idea that I brought her with me back then..." As I got back to my senses I heard Paul teasing me and here I thought "I should've just killed that demon" I should restrain killing here as much as possible, even if I can they are still lives, life can't be bought or echange with another type of life

It's something very precious that parent would go out their way to avenge their deceased son or daughter, even the most garbage of the scums can change so can a humans heart.

"Paul..! stop saying stuff like that" This kid Paul his really teasing me more and more, hmph!

"Y-yeah Paul..! Nyx... Nyx is just busy thinking on how to help this beast man..."

"R-right..! Lisa is right, Paul you are so young but you already know how to tease about having a crush on someone... are... are you perhaps in love of sister Maria and is just jealous with Nyx..?!"

"W-what..?! No of course not! What are you talking about Ayesha..."

"You guys... *bonk*" I laughed at the two of them Paul and Ayesha as sister Maria punched their head as hard as she could.

"Hahaha, you two... you stop quarreling every now and then..." As I came closer to the bed where the beast man was resting I carefully looked at the runes and saw how primotive the seal was, for me it would only be a child's play.

"Hmmm..."

"Nyx, can you help this poor child..? but now that I see you it prove my assumption right... it seems it would be hard for you to breat this magic tool and it even had runes in it-"

"It-whauhakk..?! h-how did you... how did the chains suddenly loosen and opened itself..?" I looked at sister Maria's dumb cute face and thought it was pretty adorable seing it, Her shock expression is so prescious for me who was treated like a garbage in my two lives..!

"Haha, sister Maria you sound so funny... HAHAHA!"

Paul was once again hit by sister Maria mercilessly, Lisa and Ayesha now of course behaved themselves as they saw how Paul was yet again beatrn by sister Maria.

I looked at this lively people and sighted, How I envy their relationship.

"Well I'll just say that... it was a bit too easy for me..? haha" I don't know how or what I should say with sister Maria at this point, I can't even make a proper excuse for how I got this beast man but maybe I can let her in on my secret after all Paul, Lisa and Ayesha and the little kids didn't say anything well the little brats don't know a thing about it since I only made sure to show Lisa, Paul and Ayesha to convince them and till now they didn't say nor ask about it again.

This just show how they treat a friend, loyalty and trust this two is created by just coincidentally bumping into Lisa... or maybe it was destiny..? haha I shouldn't think too much about it.

"A bit too easy for you..?! even a mage who had reached the seventh circle would not dare day such things... and looking at it with that many runes it should be a fairly high ranking magic tool, at... at least it should be a grade B or B+ magic tool..?"

"Magic tool..?"

"What is a B grade magic tool sister Maria..?"

"Tsk tsk...nas expected of you two I at least think that Lisa know it since her parents are adventurer and also her mother almost reached the first circle... A magic tool is basically a tool made from the usage of the mystery of magic and the alchemist dedicated half of their life in researching about how to integrate magic into tool by using forging or by using magic in any means to create useful magic tools..!"

"Well Ayesha is right, and I presume Nyx is already knowledgeable about this but it isn't only that, alchemy is nothing like this runes are a different type of magic which originated from the tower of gods and many mages tried to study this "runes" till a thousand years ago a certain mage finally manage to grasp on how to use runes and now as you know tunes are used to upgrade or make a weapon more powerful or rare, only 6th circle or the 7th circle mages can utilize such powerful runes that came from the gods."

Meanwhile Nyx was very clueless that runes originated from the tower of gods as in the past he has never heard such, because runes are a normal thing back in the immortal world but it isn't as easy as one thought but it was like the story sister Maria said, if inly a thousand years has passed since the discovery of runes then it's understanable to see how primitive it was and I can easily break the seals, but back in the immortal worlds runes are the fundamental law of heaven and earth and one needs to understand the Dao in order to properly utilize runes and as such the cultivation would also matter in using runes but if one has a greater understanding of the Dao then no doubt one can start practicing the skills of rune mastery and one can also practice array as they both heavily rely on runes and formations.

"Regeneration, sister Maria after I heal this beast man I have something to talk with the three of you..." I wanted to gain more money and start a business, at first I wanted to use the "burger" as a means for having a small chain restaurants, as it would both be popular snack with yhe commoner and both the noble and the royalty is no exception

With decades the chef back in earth have already mastered this fast food snack, and even I like it and what's more with the use of a meat from an S class magical beast boar the seemingly ordinary beef woulr surely stand out more and would create a vert aromatic flavor.

"Uhmm... what is it about Nyx..?" I can see the anxious looks of Ayesha, Lisa and Paul and sister Maria was also concerned as to what it was but she didn't know Nyx would use her as means of gaining money.

"Well... nothing much, I just need you all to cooperate with me in creating a pharmacy..."

"A pharmacy..?"

"What's that..?"

"Uhmm... right... Nyx w-what is that..?" I heard Lisa's cute sentence as she didn't know nor any of them know what a pharmacy was, And I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"A pharmacy..?" Sister Maria asked.
