Chapter 9:Family

Nyx's tears suddenly feel down from his eye lids to his cheeks.

Nyx realized, what's this..? Since when?

He was dumbfounded and didn't realized he actually cried when he saw his parents lying in front of him and almost looked lifeless... Zira his mom gave birth to him, held him in her arms with the thought of an unconditional love was given by him, Terran his father was not as tender but he was sincere and tried to make him laugh from time to time.

Nyx remembered his time in the immortal world and thought of every and single misfortune he faced as from time to time people around him always tried to to, either to kill or to take advantage of him.

This experience was the reason who made him think of be killed or kill, it made him numb his feelings, buried his anger and sorrows, suppressed his happiness and love.

It made a big impact on him on how to treat other people rightly and evenly.

Nyx then remembered when how he was slaughtered by his most closest friend who he called his brother and a woman who he spent some years and thought they already have a mutual understanding.

This made Nyx think "this is what a family really felt like... huh..? it feels warm yet I feel sorrow when I see them like this... Is this how it feels to love and have a 'Family'??"

I want this feeling of kinship and closeness as a family to last forever... and ever...

Nyx then replied to Keiko without hiding any intention that he already has a mind of his own like an adult and directly said to Keiko.

"I'll protect this family forever and treasure it like my own heart! Keiko thank you for making me understand what a 'Family' really is"

Nyx said this while he had tears flowing down his cheeks, Nyx had a face full of determination while gazing straight to Keiko's eyes having his eyes turned a little red.

Keiko was a little surprised but she knew Nyx was sincere about his words and didn't say anything except.

Don't worry, Zira and Terran will wake up after a few hour of rest.

Nyx then looked at both his parents and can't help but say.

Shouldn't we put them in a bed so they could rest much better...?

Keiko then said, no it's alright to leave them like this to learn from their mistakes. Zira is too emotional I already told her when we arrived here that the elemental storm was not going to hurt anyone but them if they got closer to it.

Nyx then thought, isn't she worried about my mother... or perhaps Keiko is right I was really in control of the chaotic mana they called elemental storm. They wouldn't have really got hurt if it wasn't for me... I should make it up to them.

After a few hours the sun all most started to set down.

Nyx, they should wake up any moment now.

He was waiting in anticipation as his but was numb by sitting in Keiko's laps... Unexpectedly Keiko had a very hard skin.

Nyx, I hope they wake up a second now my but hurts, Keiko's muscle are really well developed it feels lile I'm sitting on a iron chair..! It's torturing my butt... is this my punishment for making my parents hurt themselves..? if so then Keiko really did plan this well I can't take it anymore I wanna go to my baby crib or something...

Would I even still fit in my baby crib? Nyx asked him self dumbly.

Zira then slowly waked up and had a blurry vision...

*ugh*

Zira suddenly remembered what happened and how much pain she had suffered just to see her little baby boy Nyx.

Meanwhile

Keiko and Nyx saw Zira slowly waking up and he immediately rushed out but Keiko kept him in her arms.

Nyx was having a tough time breaking out even with half his strength!

I don't want to use this power they might think I'm too weird for a child and might notice something is wrong with me... This da*n woman my butt hurts, hey just let me go...

Keiko then said in a serious tone, don't go there yet Zira and Terran need to realize that life isn't always centered to only one of them.

Nyx was dumbfounded as her mother Zira and Terran were hurt badly, and Terran well... he deserved that beating..!

Nyx continued, who would hit their son even if... Nyx had a dark look at his face which looked dumb but he realized...

Yeah, I do indeed deserve that punch he gave me as a lesson for being an unfilial son...

Zira then slowly walked towards Terran.

Zira shouted in surprised and with a hint of sadness.

Terran what happened to you? Are you alright honey..?

Zira carefully took Terran out of the small hole in their floor and saw that he seemed fine but he was unconscious.

Zira then looked far ahead and saw Nyx and Keiko.

Keiko what happened here? Why did is Terran in such a mess and where is Nyx..?

Zira then saw a small boy the same age as a four year old, and she felt as if it was Nyx his son..!

Keiko then pointed at Nyx and have a cute look on her face and didn't say anything more.

Zira was quite confused as to what Keiko was up to by pointing at the small boy...

Zira looked at the crib and she saw there was nobody their and looked around but Zira didn't saw Nyx...

And suddenly Zira catch up to what was Keiko was trying to say.

Keiko... perhaps... the one you are caressing is Nyx..?

Keiko didn't say anything and just looked at Zira while she was petting Nyx like a puppy.

Nyx nodded instantly and got up as fast as he could, because his butt was numb as how hard Keiko's lap was.

Nyx then ran towards Zira and hugged her mother as soon as he came closer to Zira he jumped and hugged her.

Zira was taken aback, why is Nyx much bigger and taller now? Is this the cause of the elemental storm? Was that actually a baptism of the real goddess of darkness Nyx..??!
