Chapter 51: The secret plot of the Kingdom of Sloth

"Damn... the people are in a state of panic..!" A guard said.

"Shut up and just do your job and make sure you protect the village people going to the hill top house of the mage sir Terran..!" Captain Kenny scolded the guard.

"Yes! I'm sorry sir..!" The guard apologized to Kenny.

"It's alright as long as you do your duties we can save all this people... but what is demons doing here..?! The Kingdom might be planning something, if such an outrageous thing like demons invading the in land that is pretty far from the seven Cities border from the invading demons... don't tell me that the fortresses have already fallen down in the demons hands..?! then they might as well as start a full blown war with the seven Cities..!" Captain Kenny just realised this problem and his spirit immediately broke.

"But... that's not possible captain! If such things really did happen then the Adventurers guild around the seven Cities would surely send back up with their best adventurers like the Demon slaughterer Anna! or the Church Paladin army!" A guard said.

"You are right... both forces has their own trump cards to fight against the demons if such a problem has happened..!" Kenny just realized something again, that this might have something to do with the nobles or even the royal family of the City of Sloth.

'This must be a plot from the nobles... the first time I meet one I knew instantly that they don't care about no one but themselves..!'

Meanwhile Zira was having a tough time fighting the hordes of demonic wolves that was at least in the hundreds or so, but unlike normal magical beast demonic beast has a higher intelligent and their demonic QI in it self is making them more stronger but berserk at the same time making their intelligence only really that of a beast

Terran on the other hand was supervising any change in the flow of demonic beast and is ready to assist the hunters with physical enhancing spell and many other elemental buff magic.

"This is strange... why would a demonic wolf appear here all of a sudden... and all of them are at least B+ class and even among them there are at least twenty to thirty A class rank, even Zira can't properly fight them because of their siege attacks... if this goes on the demons might enter the village sooner I should support them to hold out a little longer and save my mana" Terran was wearing a light suit of armor that was black in color and looked like an armor from ancient times.

"Blessing of the wind: Swift wind! Blessing of the earth: Physical strengthening!" Terran chanted two Advance magic spells, the Swift wind was used to make the limbs lighter and makes the weapon they are holding almost weightless but with the titanium swords they had it was really weightless for them

And the earth physical strengthening magic can multiply the people's strength by two time, wind magic focuses on buff spells and large scale magic and earth magic mainly focuses on physical strengthening and other types of spells.

"Whooaaaa... my body if so light now... as expected of a seventh circle mage..!" A hunter said.

"That's natural, it's sir Terran after all! hah!" Blackmane stab a wolf that was coming for him but only managed to wound it and didn't managed to kill it.

"Damn... even Blackmane's stab didn't kill it, but now we can finally go past these demonic wolves defenses!" Another hunter commented.

"Yeah... we can't even move from our spot because of this damn wolves..!" A hunter said while fending of a claw of a demonic wolf.

The hunters was surrounded by the wolves but managed to stand their ground because Zira have been slowly teaching them proper swordsmanship.

"But ma'am Zira is really a monster..! she is fighting about almost eighty of them and already killed about ten to fifteen of them..!" Eadwig said with a surprise tone.

"Yeah... that's a grand master level swordsman for you..." Blackmane said but he was too preoccupied.

Meanwhile Zira was having a though time killing the demonic wolves even with her current speed and strength, it was hard for her to properly coat her sword Mitsuki with energy blade to kill the demonic wolves resulting to her slow pace of killing them

With the wolf's non stop attack to Zira she was worried if the reinforcement of the wolves would come.

"This damn wolves are pretty quick with their chain attacks... not giving me any time to use my sword techniques... but with Terran here I know he can wipe out the enemy after he reached the seventh circle level" Zira was annoyed with the demonic wolves and their non stop attacks but one wolf tried to use his bite attack it's fangs became two times sharper and it became deadlier with the demonic aura it had

But Zira was very quick that she used this opportunity to attack that demonic wolf instead.

The demonic wolves has the same body, it's body was that of the same height of a human and it's skin was black with it's fur lightly dark red. But it's claws were as sharp as swords and was as hard as steels it was even hard enough to make normal iron swords be cut like a butter if one uses such a sword fighting against this type of demonic wolf

But Zira's sword was an heirloom of their family that was said to be craft with two parts the other was full of power and the other has the essence of cutting anything and that was Zira's sword Mitsuki it gained the power of the moon.

The wolves howled as they saw one of their pack members died to Zira when the wolf tried to bite Zira off guard Zira was already ready to slice it's head half..! Zira just used that a little moment in time to kill that demonic wolf

Zira smiled as she saw the wolves howled it was a chance for her to strike them down with their stupid pride.

"Hahaha..! dog will still be a dog no matter what they're form are..." Zira laughed and looked like a maniac and looked for a group of demonic wolves that was close to one another to launch a special strike.

'This wolves are really quite smart they are really demons... but how can they appear here? this is too sudden, we didn't hear anything from the kingdom nor from the adventurer guild didn't tell us anything... even if Grannar village is a remote place it should be told with the latest news even when the demons start to invade the human lands...'

Zira focused and forced her mana to flow towards her arms and formed an energy blade, it was quite chaotic but she slashed it towards four wolves closed to each other.

"Beheading strike!" Zira moved like a bolt of lighting in the middle of a fight and dashed towards the howling four idiotic wolves.

With a swift strike Zira decapitated the four wolves in a single move, as if their body and head was still intact the body of the four wolves was still standing and their head was floating in the air bathe in the moonlit shine of the night, and the blade Mitsuki they saw just how beautiful the moon was when they died they regretted the fact that they still fought this human girl when they know pretty well that they don't stand a chance

Wolves usually hunt together and take down stronger enemies but today they were the one's that were being slowly hunted by their prey a human. It was because they pride themselves with their numbers that they underestimated their opponent.

"Huff... that was quite taxing to my body... but, I can somehow use my mana without damaging my mana channels like what low leveled swordsman do when they are in danger... haha, it seems that I really am a Grand master level swordsman now..." Zira smiled and look at the blood soaked sword Mitsuki as the blood drip Zira used her full power to strengthen herself

And tried to only rely on her own power this time, last time she had to rely on Keiko to strengthen her body but now Zira wanted to challenged herself.
